On 2/8/23 I scheduled an appt with ************************* through JP ********************************* to discuss purchasing solar on 2/11/23.On 2/16/23 I signed a contract purchasing solar panels and paid a $1000 deposit.We were promised NEM2.I was told I would be getting a $500 rebate check.Never received. Nothing progressed for months so I began reaching out to ******* 6/1/23 to see what our status was and he did not respond for weeks. In July we learned that ******* never submitted our paperwork, s******* us out of NEM2 which now meant we were required to purchase a solar battery. We declined and requested they fix their mistake by completely covering the cost of the solar battery which the company did after discussing involving a lawyer. On 7/6/23 I signed another contract including the battery. I received an email stating I would receive a $1000 cash-back incentive, which again, I never received. Once again things did not move forward and a worker told us ******* did not submit our paperwork AGAIN until he was let go from the company. 8/25/23 I finally received a welcome email with a timeline from ***************************** and things began moving forward until the end of the year when they slowed. I reached out to the company in December for an install date and they were able to schedule us 12/26/23-12/28/23. We paid $23,011.20 on 12/26/23. Since installation, we have failed inspection 4 times, been rescheduled for corrections multiple times and it has now been 4 months since our solar was installed and we still have not passed inspection and the company has had zero sense of urgency to complete the job. We should have had our solar turned on MONTHS ago, yet we are still facing months of it being off, costing us money they assured us we'd be saving by now when we signed the contract. The company needs to make this right by completing the job with urgency and sending me the rebate checks they had promised, to help with these rising electric costs that the solar i paid for, should be helping with.
