Purchased *************** Recliner July 5, 2023. Paid $2,800 for the set. The main purchase for this was my Veteran Spouse to have a comfortable area to sit that reclined. I was also encouraged to purchase a protection plan by the Sales Rep. ***** The recliner that sits my disabled veteran spouse failed on Dec 31, 2023. The process of Mor's warranty began on January 2, 2023. I called and sent photo to company. This product was only 6 months after purchase. A tech was sent out on January 30th and diagnosed recliner to need a new footrest motor. I was told it would be 3 weeks. The warranty office was contacted at the end of February, and I was told the Part receipt is scheduled for March 26th. On April 2, I was told it has not been shipped and now has a new receipt date of April 30 plus it will take 3 weeks to sort another 3 weeks to deliver and then however soon a tech could be scheduled in my area which could also take 3 weeks. which means that our furniture is broken for another 90-days. I believe that *** pushed their warranty while misleading the customer into spending quite a bit of money for incompetent furniture and warranty products.Customer response
