On 02-27-2021, I entered into this business with my daughter to have a dress custom made by the owner of the business ****. This day we walked into the store specifically to speak with **** about making a dress for my daughter. My daughter showed her a picture of the dress from her phone. **** looked at the dress and said yes. The difference of the picture and what my daughter wanted was the material. My daughter wanted the dress in lavendar satin with 2 organza aprons on top of skirt with 1 apron of glittery tule. That day after her taking measurements and telling us when she would have it, I made this order cotract with her. I gave her a deposit she requested of $800. And she was supposed to have dress made by July 15, 2021. After 1st try she did not call us back until i called her in June and she told me she did not have the dress done due to shipping, and that her dressmaker came down with covid. I told her, i thought you were making it. She said, she does some things and the lady helps with other things. I asked when do you think this dress will be made? She asked me to please give her a month. After dragging it along in September 9, 2021 she calls for my daughter for a fitting. She only had the corset and satin skirt made but not connected. That day **** told me in order to finish the dress i had to pay her and i could pick up the dress 15 days later ready to go. Dry cleaned and ironed. On October 26th I went to PinkE boutique in hopes to pick up dress and she was not there. I call her, she forgot. So i go back on 27th and the dress was not finished. She pleaded with me to give her a week. I did, and she calls me a day later telling me there's no material. That day i was already upset 2 weeks befor the day we needed tje dress and she still has excuses. I told her **** i really trusted you with your profession of being a dressmaker and still can not finish my dress, PLEASE give me my money back. That's all i want now. **** misleads customers and is false advert
