      I had service free for 1 year from viper auto car start in 2020. They apparently automatically sign you up for a membership after one year, which I did not realize or remember being told about. I apparently signed up for this at the dealer that installed it, and do not recall ever being told that I was going to be charged. Regardless of me not realizing it I wrote them an email in November of 2022 Asking them if My app wasnt working because I needed to pay for a membership because my service had never worked since installation except for maybe a month. After emailing them asking them about the service plan they never responded telling me they were already charging me. My husband works a lot and the charge was on his credit card so he did not know that he was being charged for this. My complaint is I have the email of me asking them about a service plan and they never responded to the email. The gentleman on the phone today told me that they got it so its not that they didnt get it. They knew the app wasnt working, and they did not respond to the app not working or tell me that I was already paying for a plan. We sold the car shortly after so I was not concerned about it anymore. But upon going through my husbands credit card, we realized that he was being charged for several years for a product. We never used because it didnt work. It didnt even work most of the free year. I believe my husband was of the impression that the charge was for something else. But in my email to them a few years ago, I asked them about a service plan and they never responded back letting me know I was paying for one. It may be my responsibility to know that, but this seems very deceptive to me since I asked the question and they knew the app had never worked for me choosing not to respond to me is deceptive.

      I had the product installed on 4/05/2023 for $648.Product features involve security systems that arms and remote start. I have been having multiple issues with the product.At first, the issue started with the alarm wouldn't arm and disarm The remote start is not working, it doesn't engage and turn on the motor.The motor starts but then stalls and turns off. Their website and product ensures 100% customer satisfaction and That the products work and are insured to not have issues or problem. I have reached out to dealer for help on various issues, as the Viper website has Requested I do. I have filled a customer service complaint in the past, they have not responded or reached out.

      I purchased a viper remote start system 3 years ago through a verified installer. Over the past 3 years of having this system I've had to get the remotes or brain fixed yearly. Now my remotes don't work at all and both viper and the installing company are trying to charge me $120 for two new remotes. I should not have to pay anything when the remotes never worked from the beginning. The company who installed it is sound source in ********* ***** and the owner is a downright douchebag. Just an arrogant ***** who has no desire to help customers. He just wants your money and it seems like that's all viper wants to. They claim their remotes work for 30 years but their warranty is only for a year and I've had issues with my remotes and the Brain the entire time I've owned this system. Neither the installing company nor viper wants to pay for my replacement remotes. One thing's for sure I'm not paying for two new remotes to the tune of $120 when I spent $700 plus dollars on a faulty remote start system. If you want to save yourself some time and headache and deal with the company that actually gives a s*** about the people who purchase their products, buy a compustar remote start kit.

      I purchased my device in 2017 with three years plan and then I renew my plan for another three years 2020 and expired in 2023. now I try to renew my device but its say out of service plan. I keep calling them they put me in hold for 30 minutes and they really gave me a hard time. I just need to renew my device. I dont wanna buy another one. Its cost me too much for Parts and Insallation. Thank you.

      I purchased viper Internet security in 2015. It was a lifetime membership. In 2019 they sold the company and tried to tell me I wouldn't get lifetime. I reported it to you and argued with them and they sent me a code so I would be able to get my internet security. I have a lifetime membership. I have had to contact them the last few years to get the code. This year their tactics are to leave you on hold for more than a half hour five business days in a row and not address my issue. I need a code for my lifetime viper Internet security that I purchased. Can you get me a code and reinstall my security so it will not be shut off on the shut-off date which is in two days. They don't seem to want to give me a lifetime membership but yet that's what I purchased and they know it. Thank you. The account is under **********************

      Purchased a device and service plan from VIPER Smart Start with my ****** Tundra in 2014 that had GPS tracking and remote start functions. First device had to be replaced at my expense due to outdated cellular technology in the first. I renewed the plan several times including in 2017. They increased the cost of the plans drastically in 2020 and I didn't renew at the end of a 3 year contract from 2017 which expired in Feb (shown below). When I moved back to an area where I want to use the service again (colder and want the remote start) I got the message "NO SERVICE PLANS AVAILABLE Your device has been permanently deactivated by the carrier due to extended lapse in service plan coverage. Replacement hardware and service options are available, please contact support."I have already purchased their hardware twice now including install fees.       I purchased a service plan for Smart start from viper January 2022 service stopped working immediately thereafter due to the nation taken down 3G towers and service however they still felt it was necessary to sell me this service even though they knew it was being taken down I purchased a Year's worth and now it doesn't work ever.

      Please help everytiime I try to call I am put on hold and can not get through. I can not renew my subscription for my Smart Start I get a message your service plan has expired add a service plan but when i go to add a service plan It says there are none available. Your device has been permanently deactivated by the carrier due to extended lapse in service plan coverage. I didn't realize it expired because I didn't use my car last year. I've emailed the email I found in the app and i've called several tiimes I don't know what to do at this point please help me get in touch with someone. ********************* ********************

      Signed up for a yearly remote start plan. After 6 months, I can no longer use the subscription because the hardware I have is old. Viper will give me a "free" equipment upgrade if I signup for another 3 year contract. I'm not sure why they sold me a yearly subscription when they knew it wouldn't work for the entire year. I want a refund of the months I can't use.
