On May 10th 2023 I paid $4370 to the online store of a distributor called TruckMount Forums to purchase a piece of equipment called the Vibe, manufactured by the company Orbot. My order number was #*****.On May 23rd, I received the item and unboxed it, only to immediately discover that the drain cap on the holding tank was damaged, having been forcibly cross-threaded at some point making the holding tank incapable of retaining water. I made a phone-call to TMF customer support immediately, they requested photos, and I emailed them the requested photos immediately.After several emails back and forth, on May 30th I was sent an email from TMF support saying they had spoken with Orbot, and I was being sent a replacement tank in the mail.After the replacement part arrived, we made several attempts at removing the existing tank, which resulted in stripped s**** heads and the discovery of lock-tite on said screws. In addition we discovered that we had to further dissassemble the machine in order to access some of the screws. At this point we abandoned our attempts, and I sent another email to TMF. I told them I would not settle for anything less than an exchange for a new machine.I continued speaking with TMF but ultimately it became clear that this was something I should be bringing up with Orbot rather than TMF.Orbot told me that they will not replace the whole machine because they have already replaced the part.In summary, I received a faulty machine over 2 months ago, reported it immediately, and was met with half measures and essentially told to fix it myself. It is not my responsibility to repair something I purchased at full price and which arrived in a state of disrepair. Additionally, I could've been making money off the machine, and have turned down thousands of dollars in jobs because of this.Please help me get the resolution I seek.
