Very disappointed that this company cannot stand by the products that they deliver to consumers. My 29 gallon fish tank must a leak along the bottom seam and water spewed through three levels of my house. Although I made the mistake of not insisting my insurance company deal with this company, I took it upon myself and they offered me $29. I went through thousands of dollars of damage and they cant even refund me for the money because I bought the aquarium with cash years ago. The woman I was dealing with, ***************************, did the best she could but I felt very angry that she did not advocate for me and at the very least refund me for the cost of tank and materials. I showed nearly a dozen photos of the damage. I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again.

Greetings,Please consider this the sole response to the above complaint. We were sorry to hear of *************** and her 29-gallon tank experience that was purchased from Petco. Upon hearing of her loss, we offered to refund her for her purchase if she produced a dated retail purchase receipt. Loss of personal property and property damage resulting from a failure was not included in the manufacturers written product warranty and would need to be handled however the consumer chooses. *************** was unable to provide a receipt, so we offered to refund her the current retail cost of the tank in good faith, which was $29.00. She refused to accept this offer and in an additional effort to resolve, we offered to send her comparable products of her choice that she might be able to use in the future. This offer was never responded to.
