11/21/23 My garbage disposal was leaking water badly under my kitchen sink - I called Garcia Plumbing after finding them on the internet. ********* the owner came to my home and immediately began to try and tell me that i had mold from a leak that began 2 hours earlier and his company could remediate it for over $2000. He quoted me $1525 to install a new garbage disposal. ******* came an hour later to install the garbage disposal that ******** picked up. I paid ******** with a check in the amount of $1525 and was assured I would get a receipt. ******* did not have the piece needed to connect to dishwasher, so would be back the next morning. 11/22/23, ******* returned to connect to dishwasher. 11/23/23 Thanksgiving Day, my sink is leaking again, I called and left messages on both company phone and cell. ******* returned and put gobs of blue tape around the original plumbing that had not been replaced to stop the leak. I texted asking for invoices and warranties on 12/4, 12/15, and spoke to ******** 12/14 where he assured me that he had fired the office manager an invoice would be sent, apologized, wanted to make it up to me and do the mold remediation, etc. 1/16/24 my sink is pouring water from the gobs of blue plumbing tape again, I left messages on both company phone and ********'s phone. ******* returned 1/17/24 and finally replaced the original pipe connecting to the disposal, Still no invoice. 2/5/24 my dishwasher is not draining after they connected new disposal as they replaced the hose and talked to ****, who is still working there. Someone would be out between 3-4 pm with the invoice. ******** arrived after 4 and did not want to work on it as he claims it was not part of the original work. My cabinets have been soaked 3 times and I still do not have a warranty or invoice, and feel I was grossly overcharged. ******** told my husband he would text me the invoice on 2/6/24 and I have no text. Check was cashed on 11/25/23. I will look into legal avenues.
