Once.Virtually ZERO historical data was provided and after reading the "report", Report ID: ************ it dawned upon me that FAXVIN was, indeed a fraud seeking to fine unsophisticated victims or "prey".I reached out using the FAXVIN.COM 'contact us' messaging on the FAXVIN.COM webiste twice, seeking assistance over several days and as of this writing, no response has been received.FAXVIN.COM represents itself as checking multiple sources for: Accidents History Reported Odometer *********************************************************************************** Records Flood, Hail and Fire Damage Mileage Rollback Vehicle Specifications Personal, Taxi or *********************** Inspection, and Registration History U.S. Motor Vehicle Title System (NMVTIS) ******** ********************** Auto ********************** Companies Salvage Auctions Collision Repair Facilities Car Dealerships Manufacturers Rental/fleet Vehicle Companies State Inspection Stations The report contained exactly one event in the 41 years preceding my inquiry - the initial registration from the *** (Manufacturers sTatement of Origin) to an individual.As I initially suspected, no concrete data (facts) from the listed sources was reported.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      As with most of the internet based scams run by folks who are trying to make an income in a capitalist based economy, integrity isn't a part of the business model.  Grabbing a customer's INFORMATION is the real function of MOST of these scammers.

      The honest truth here is that FAXVIN uses data they purchase from aggregators to present the image of a research product when, in fact, the company delivers virtually no data the customer couldn't have already verified, as i did, prior to contracting with the scam artist "company".

      FAXVIN has all the hallmarks of a fraudulent organization, a regular "wolf in sheepskin" that consumers deserve to be protected from.
      The problem is there are LOTS of "faxvin"s out there scamming millions of dollars from millions of consumers day in and day out.

      It's more 'the principle' than the money from my perspective.
      I could have predictively used ALL the other 'responses' from FAXVIN to the BBB to craft nearly the same response in this case, verbatim. 
      The response was totally "cookie cutter".
      We need to shut these scammers down permanently as a service to others globally.

      On October 19th I ordered a report regarding an ** I own to see if this ** was previously owned. The report stated that this ** was in an accident. On October 20th, I used the form from their website to contact them regarding this as there wasn't any additional information such as dates for any events listed or even the year the ** was ************* I requested dates for the title records and asked for more information regarding the reported accident. It has been 7 days since my inquiry and they have failed to respond to me. If this report is accurate, I want the requested information, if not, then I'd like a refund.

      Date of transaction was October 7th, 2022 I was charged ***** vehicle report based on VIN number. The preliminary information I was given about what the report was include was for stolen vehicle entries. So I purchased the report on one side, received a report and it didn't have any information about any stolen vehicle entries. I was confused so I checked several other companies doing the same thing and found no information about the car being stolen. In the time that I did this, the vehicle I was interested in purchasing was sold and so because of that I am out. All of the VIN reports that I had to run and I now have to rent a vehicle for an additional week until I find a new car. I have a desire to be contacted by the business so that I may discuss with them a way to amicably resolve this issue

      Hi. This is a scam. The report does not show title history or any thing. I would like a prompt refund. They charged $18 . The report is not up-to-date or does not contain any useful information as number of owners and is missing data. They are a big scam.

      on 6/8/22 I found Faxvin via google search. My goal was to get the title history for my RV. After following the prompts and entering the VIN, the results page showed there was information available for my RV. I paid the $8.95US to get the VIN report, but to my surprise it was blank! No records found is what it said for title info. I have emailed twice with no response. I went back to the website on 6/10/22 to run a second search of my vin again so I could verify the initial search results and was given the same results. I was able to take a screenshot at this time to show that FaxVin does in fact lie to it's consumers. By intentionally showing that they have information in every column of their search results, they are falsely leading customers to believe that they indeed have information. This is an outright lie. Screen shots are attached below. I assert that FaxVin as a company intentionally misleads consumers in order to profit. I want my money back and I want FaxVin to operate ethically in the future.
