First Financial Credit Union took over my credit union (Rafe in ********, **). FFCU took over my loans (Car, Personal). From what I understood, this debt was combined into one loan payment. I'm thinking I paid off my last debt payment in 2022 with this company, and this last transaction was done over the phone. Thinking I am debt free, until I applied for a loan last month. I immediately called FFCU. They stated, I owe an amount 209 dollars, now it's 300 some dollars with interest. I called them immediately, and their response: We emailed, called, and sent letters, which I responded; I did not receive at all. I asked, why did I not receive any phone messages, emails, or letters. Here is another point, when I called last month, I had to give my current personal information ( address, phone#, email address) and the agent confirmed my current information. I definitely received all of those communications when I was behind in payments. My other question to the agent; I had no other debt, so why would I damage my credit score with a 200 dollar payment left out there to damage my credit? The agent had no answer, and agreed! Thinking my last payment was made, I was not told there was a remaining balance due. I received professional advice to contact BBB to resolve this issue. This company did not respond to the individual who sent out a letter to this establishment, and this is not the first time having problems with this company. I cannot move forward with my application to start my start-up business application. I want the $300 dollars taken off with a letter of clearance of zero balance immediately.Business response

My First Financial Credit Union (Lakewood Branch) lost my ****** from *********** Vehicles and I am unable to register my vehicle, which is now just being parked since December 1, 2020. After hearing, they have lost the title to my vehicle, I procedded to requested a second ****** and its being over two months and each time I call they don't have an answer to when I am going to be able to register my vehicle. I have attempted to register my vehicle with the **** but the matter needs to fix by the Credit Union. In the meatine I have lost time from work, school and being using public transportation/uber.Business response

FFCU is working diligently to resolve this issue. We have successfully obtained a temporary vehicle operating permit and made arrangements for ************** to pick up at her local branch. This financial institution (I worked with *******) ran my credit for a loan knowing full well I didn't have the employment history to qualify with them, and then still tried to get me to sign up for a membership. They were fully aware of all my employment details and failed to tell me that was a stipulation. Very ********* of them, I would never use this place for any loans or services. Now I have an additional inquiry on my credit that will make it harder to get a loan that could have been avoided. 08/18/2022. I was lied to and told by the first financial credit union in*********************** that I could get a ******* loan and I had to buy a prepaid debit card put ****** on it give them the info and within 5 mins the loan money would be deposited into my account so I proceeded to do that and they took my money I never received a loan and they will not refund my money. I was told I had to pay another ******* before it would be approved. They never told me that or I would never had proceeded to pay the $150.00. The loan officers name was Supposed to be ***** *** and **** ***** and *** was the badge nu.ber or some kind of number for the **** ****** Both men I talked to sounded like they were the same person. They were not ****************************** is the number I had to call. I had to take photos of the prepaid card and send to them. I was told I would get the *** refunded also after I showed proof I could make the monthly payments. I have a receipt and the card to show proof I sent this to those people. We do not have a Member by the name of ****** ******, nor do we have employees by the name of ***** *** or **** ****** This appears to be a scam that was done to this person. First Financial Credit Union was not involved at all. We don't request Members to pay for a prepaid debit card in order to apply for a loan. We also do not provide any services to people who ar not Members. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I sent a photo of the receipt and of the card I was told to purchase. This company needs to find out the person using the company's name saying they are an employee of that company and calling the phone number that contacted me so they can investigate this scammed trying to use the name of there company. I want my money back from the First Financial credit union. First, they came to my workplace Job fair to sell the savings account to people with a high-interest rate for 14 months of installment saving account. I thought it was good to save a monthly to get lumps money after year from the savings plan. That caused me to join to open on 08-23-2018. with them. I had been contacted by many people on the phone to First Financial employees since 2019, but nobody returned my phone call to help refund my overpaid $**** in September 2019. Furthermore, I requested the savings account to pay $**** for saving installment on my monthly installment. I asked to talk to the manager or supervisor. They never transferred to the manager or supervisor. Additionally, I already had paid the whole amount for school employees from XX-XX-XXXX to 09-30-2019, which is an installed saving payment of $**** every month I saved to my account to the First Financial Credit Union. They had received my overpayment for $**** because they sent another payment request that made me confused to make one more installment of $**** even though I already paid the September installment of $****. One employee called me she saved the overpaid $**** in a separate account temporarily. However, I overpaid $****, so she should be sent back my refund of $****. She never answers and one of the employees mailed the lumps money, he got my message when called him I left messages so many times. They never called me back. I mailed all my documents to them, but they never respond to my letter with pictures documents. They had received my overpayment of $****. I called, mailed, left messages, and talked them to refund my overpaid $**** who sent the whole saved my money for 13 or 14 months without overpaid $****. They never called me back and did not help to refund my overpaid $**** and requested my savings statement recorded mail to me. I never received any messages or mail from them. They should refund my overpaid $****Business response
