On 4/8/2022, my sister was admitted to Cedars Sinai due to an illness. I received a call concerninng her health and what test were done. I was told that she would have to be transferred to Kaiser Permanente because her insurance is with Kaiser Permanente, but there wasn't any beds at this time.
On 4/9/2022, our niece called Cedars and was told that she had been transferred to Kaiser Permanente on Sunset so, she called me and I was surprised to learn that she wasn't at Cedars. I never received a call about her leaving the hospital on that Saturday 4/9/2022. I asked my niece to call Sunset. My niece called me after 11:00 p.m. letting me know that my sister was admitted to Kaiser Permanente on Cadillac at 7:00 p.m. When I called the nurses station located on my sisters floor, I asked why hadn't someone called me about her being there. I was told by the nurse that they didn't have the phone number. I asked didn't she read the chart from Cedars and she told me no. I told her thhat if she couldn't realize why I was upset then I pity her and hung up the pone. I want to know why this happened from two of the largest inn California. Maybe if minorities weren't seen as chattel or their name was on a sign none of this wouldn't have happened. Yet I was told it should've happened!
