On jun 5 2022 i paid auto tech $5,200.00 cash 4 a 2007 toytoa camery auto tech and i did not get pink slip or bill of sale . He said it would come 2 me in the mail and auto tech pays 4 all dmv fees .its been over 3 months .and i pay 4 full coverage insurance and got in car crash the day after i got the car Insurance Won't start repare without Proof ownership and the toe yard won't won't let me hear the vehicle because I am not the register owner auto Tech is the owner still Now car will Cost More than the car is worth In storage fees and i day i got the car i had to get a seatbelt 4 front pass side $50.00 blance tires $40.00 and $750.00 Alternator + car has Personal belongings from my mother and father storage I was bringing with me cause they passed the day before I bought the car we had the funeral For them and these are the only memories I have Left of them and I cannot access The car because of non ownership Ownership belong To auto tech i called called No one answered or called me back until I got a number from Better Business Bureau site. They answered 1 time Instead they would register it temporarily in their name again. And didn't listen to me about my situation at all said They would go to the ** that day to take care of that and never talk to them again I'm on social security and have no other transportation I paid huge amount of money for insurance And can't use it And I am told I don't own the car By the *** and all my papers. On car are in the car so i cant Prove The car is mine All because They didn't complete transfer of title In 10 days which is by law in that time giving after 10 days $1000.00 fine is added to car and all fines have to be payed to Car to me Auto Tech address is 15 1 ************************************************************************ Please help if you can thank you. *************************.Business response

Yes sir, we did register it in your name and we gave you a temporary registration valid for 3 months till your official registration completed, I sent your paper to DMV via mail and this is how we usually do it after pandemic. They should have sent you the official one with the title on your name! You called us and I answered you and you asked me about registration and I replied usually they send it to you within a month or so, you said you never received it and I told you that I will go physically and ask about it, I did and they said they never received it and it might got lost in the mail! I printed the paper work again and made sure that they received it and you should receive it within a week or so!
now we talked and you left us voice message, but you never said anything about your situation and that your car inbound!! If you did we would go with you and took it out immediately! I never heard about this but now from your complain! And We called you more than one time and you never answered.. I wish you told us the problem from the bugging we would work with you to resolve it! We loose papers sometimes by mail to DMV, it happens we have no control over this.Customer response

On 8/14/22 I bought a car from Auto Tech for $6000. There were several things wrong with the car. After driving less than 100 miles I got a flat tire. I returned the car on 8/20/22 and we agreed to and signed a written contracts that several things would be checked and fixed if needed. These are the windshield stripping, sunroof, transmission, and airbag warning light that came on right when I drove it off the lot. Auto Tech said the items were fixed except for the airbag on 8/30. I brought a mechanic to check the repairs. It was found that the sunroof was not fully fixed and would leak, the transmission has a mechanical issue causing the car to vibrate in reverse, doors have different VIN numbers, and several other problems. I asked for a refund because the mechanic said the repairs were not done properly. I offered to pay for the flat tire. Auto Tech refused to give a refund. I left the lot with the mechanic. On 8/31 I requested a refund again and was refused again. On 9/1 Auto Tech dropped the car off to my residence. The terms of the contract signed by the owner of the company have not been met. I was told by Auto Tech that he does not care about the contract that was agreed to and signed.Business response

Hello,
************ bought the car on 8/14/22, him and his family had the chance to test drive the car and then they left and came back again, and test drove the car. he said that the car was good, and his daughter liked it, but the sunroof is not working and the plastic rubber around the windshield need to be replaced. We agreed to fix those, and he paid us $6000 by check, although we don't usually accept checks but we agreed cause we thought that they are a nice family and worth trusty! the next day the check bounced back! we tried to call ************ so many times but he was not answering, we sent him messages he was not replying! eventually he replied that the bank sent him a message for his permission and he did not reply! so we told him he needs to come and pay us cash. he gave us couple of appointment and didn't show up and then we said that we will take him to court. a week later on 8/21/22 he showed up bringing the car with a spare tire on! and said that the tire blowout while driving and he does not want the car anymore! by looking at the tire you can tell that the car hit something like a curb or anything because that was a damaged completely. of course we refused to return it! you can't buy a car with a fake check and use the car for a week, hit the car and made damages and then bring it back for a full refund! after hrs. of arguing, he gave us cash and asked us to fix what we agreed on and we did, when he came to take it he brought a mechanic and the mechanic said it's a good car and has no major issues. but he said he does not want the car anymore and needs a refund. we refused and sent the car to his resident and sent him the registering and the spare key by mail.
Sorry sir but you can't scam us like this! the car is in good condition for 2008 ****** you hit the car it's not our responsibility. when the car leaves our lot it's out of our insurance and warranty.
