On March 6 2022 I went to test drive a truck at Ryder in *************** because I was pre-approved I noticed some mechanical issues, it was overheating, it needed to be jumpstarted every time you need it to turn it on, after 45 mph the truck would shake really bad, steer tires were very worn out on the inside due to all the shaking and notified the sales Representative at the ********** location his name was *** as well to ******************************* who was in charge of finding the trucks for me. *** told me that if I was interested in the truck he could send it for repairs. I was told they will change the batteries, put new tires, it was going to get align and check why was overheating. On March 17 I was notified that the unit was ready I went to test drive one more time and found that the repairs were not done it needed jumpstart again, the check engine light was on, the exhaust filter temperature light was on, and the windshield was cracked. I spoke to ******************************* and told him that I have waited too long I was loosing money and time if he was going to find me another truck or get this one right. ******************************* and *** sent the truck for repairs on March 23 the repairs were completed except for the windshield that was backordered. April 22 the unit was picked up but I had to wait 3 hours there until they changed the batteries because they had to jumpstart again. I was never notified that I was responsible to pay the sales taxes that those were not financed. After loosing all that time without income I had to pay $10,000 to DMV for taxes and fees. ******************************* promised me a check to help with the monthly payment and insurance because I had to make a payment April 18 when I didn't even had a truck to work and insurance too. I keep sending emails to ******************************* without response. Also the paperwork to register was sent late and I lost a week of wages because the temporary permit expired.
