Caution when doing work with this business or the K*** *********** family. K*** was hired to repair our home and hired day laborers to do the majority of work, and was never on site to supervise, which resulted in multiple design deviations from the contract. Neither Kris, or his brother, Oskar, take any responsibility for the substandard work of their laborers and always deflected blame to us despite the design specifications being detailed in the contract. Prior to abandoning our job, after our refusal to pay an illegal $10,000 progress payment, he even refused to communicate directly with us, instead involving his wife, Pam. The California State Licensing Board and their industry experts, have since determined we were correct and not only fined K*** $4,500, but cited K*** with multiple violations (citation # 2 2022 1296), including: 1. Doing work below accepted trade standards 2. Failing to obtain permits 3. Failing to comply with provisions of law regarding home improvement contracts. He also demanded an excessive downpayment, illegal progress payment, and he removed a loadbearing wall without consulting an architect or engineer, which resulted in our ceiling falling and cost us over $24,000 in additional repairs. K*** has since dissolved this corporation in an attempt to escape accountability for his substandard workmanship and what appears to be fraud, and now is doing business under one of his other two licenses: IPS INC DBA INTEGRATED SERVICES LICENSE #1079874 and INTEGRATED SERVICES DBA INTEGRATED PAINTING SERVICES LICENSE #846592Customer response

If the company is failing to respond, why isn't my complaint just posted online as true? Of course they won't respond if you just drop the complaint if they don't. Please let me know what is going on.
