My original mortgage was transferred to PennyMac. I have refinanced twice as interest rates dropped saving a bundle of money; which I am putting in savings. Each time PennyMac handled the transactions smoothly and offered appropriate assistance along the way. I HIGHLY recommend PennyMac and their knowledgeable & efficient staff! I think they are really super good; they call me when it was time to refinance my house and walk me thought the whole process and they would call me to let me know where I am at with it, then they had a little lady come to my house so I could sign all of the papers in the contract.Review from Wayne S

Pennymac bought my original mortgage and it was a bumpy ride, but this review isn't about that. I got a notice from them several weeks ago that interest rates had gone down, and since I was already doing business with them, I asked them about refinancing. They gave me some cost estimates so I decided to go ahead. Well, this refinance was the smoothest loan transaction that I have ever had and I even changed jobs while it was going on. They were fast, courteous, and helped me every step of the way. I had a great experience. Best of all, I'm actually able to put away some of my money into savings now.Review from Elaine J

If I could give zero stars I would. Pennymac purchased our loan from our previous company. I have had multiple issues with them just in the less than 2 months of being a customer. They send me a letter my insurance policy does not have the correct coverage and they will be purchasing a policy for me for 3k if it isn't resolved. Long story short, called them and state farm and I DID have the correct policy. 2 weeks later I get a notification they sent a check to statefarm for our policy (that has been paid in full already) Now they are saying I am responsible for returning the check to them since they double paid!!! Horrible customer service and would not stop the check THEY mistakenly made. Trash company.Review from Randall W

Purchase my home from a company name homestar who then sold my loan to PennyMac Llc this company continues to misplace my escrow and continues to try to raise my monthly payment. They do not resolve the matter when contacted! They refuse to add my wife to the loan which was done by an attorney during closing due to my terminal condition as well as send paperwork that does not reflect my previous contract nor do they follow company guidelines they have caused me mental and emotional distress during the most difficult time of my life. As well as very rude unprofessional customer service and continue to add derogatory remarks to my credit which are not true. I will consult the advice of my attorney to resolve a matter that has been ongoing for 4 years now. Do not use this company unless you like being mistreated lied too and constantly harassed for nothing. T** and A** *******
