    In December 2020 we started with **** at A-1 Treadmill. He never showed up for our scheduled appt. Red flag but I decided to reschedule anyways. I showed him the issue that we were having with the belt not working. He told me that must be the control board that needed to be repaired. He charged me $395.00 up-front to fix it. He then took the board with him. I heard nothing from him for weeks and began to reach out to him. I was told that he dropped the board off to another 3rd party company and they do not update him. He said we just have to wait until they get around to it. He was frustrated with me asking for details and made it sound like I was a burden on him simply trying to find out when we would get him back out there with the board repaired. Finally on February 16th he let me he know was picking up the board and would reinstall it. After he came out and installed it and the treadmill belt issue still did not work. The board did not resolve the issue at all. He then said it must be the motor and told me he wanted to take that so he took it along with the board again. After he took the parts, the same thing happened. He was unreachable with no updates for months. He was simply hostile when I reached out for an update. He then claimed that this it is not his fault it is the other company, and I should call them? So I offered to call them and he said he did not want me to bother them. Fast forward to July he finally tells me they are ready to install. He then told me they took my control board and swapped it with another used one. It had now been 7 months since we started this. He comes out and installs the motor and control board and the treadmill does NOT work. Now the display no longer worked. He then told me that he cant help us any longer and we are on our own. Now I have a bad control board thanks to **** and a non-working treadmill. **** then said he would at least refund us back what we paid but he never did despite my numerous as requests.

    I have a LiveStrong treadmill that I thought I would have to replace when the console stopped responding. Other fitness stores and repair places recommended getting rid of it without even doing a proper diagnosis. I am glad I got a second opinion from **** ! These older treadmills are simple machines and should be serviceable. **** came out in one day and fixed the issue with the console easily and less than an hour. He saved me the thousands it would have cost to buy a new machine. And he gave me the right information about my machine that it is serviceable, has common parts, and has a good number of years left! The other technicians I spoke too gave me the completely opposite response! It just goes to show that seeking professional advice pays off. Before you decide to get rid of that expensive treadmill, have **** check it out first!! Thanks ****! Will call you again if anything else goes wrong.
