For a number of weeks before purchasing a car from this dealership, I worked with one of their salespeople named *********************, who wanted to sell me a 2021 Infiniti QX80 with very low miles. I were clear that I was looking for a model with a *** player, as we owned an older 2019 Infiniti QX80 that played ***s.***** explained on many occasions, verbally, by text, and email that this car has a *** player, and that it was never used, and that the plastic seals from the manufacturer were still on the entire entertainment system. She was correct that the entertainment system's parts were still sealed (2nd row monitors, wireless headsets, and remote) however after buying the car, I found out that the car did not have a *** feature, despite having a slot that can accept CDs.I was told my ****, her Sales Manager, that since I have the entertainment package, this car must have a *** player. He advised that I take the car to service, and invoke the manufacture's warranty. I took the car to 2 different dealership service departments, and I was told the same thing, that the car does not have a *** playing function. I called ****, the dealership's sales manager, to explain that I was mislead and this is misrepresentation of the car by his Sales Representative. **** stubbornly demanded that I bought the car As-Is, and that the car is coming with factory equipment. I was hoping **** would have a solution to this matter as I wouldn't have bought the car if it didn't have the *** player, however he told me that he would not help me make it right. I showed him text messages and emails between ***** and I, acknowledging the presence of a *** function, however this did not help. **** also told me that he waived the requirement to arbitration since he feels there is nothing to arbitrate, and invited me to pursue legal action. I hope the BBB can resolve this issue, as this dealership lied to me about the features of the car in order to get me to buy the car.
