I took my vehicle to be repaired at Toyonda Auto Repair because it was profusely leaking water and running hot while being driven. Upon arrival to the repair shop I met with mechanic **** who diagnosed my vehicle with a broken water pump. I was alone when i met with the mechanic and he explained that the car was in need of a new water pump, preferably a top of the line ****** water pump that would cost $250.00. **** explained that it would be best to use ****** dealer parts as opposed to cheaper parts from Auto zone or ********** since my car was in very good condition otherwise. **** stated that he would replace the water pump, perform an oil change for free and change the Serpentine belt. **** stated that the labor cost would be expensive due to the difficult and complicated procedure that needed to be done. **** indicated the entire job would cost $950.00. Although, i felt the amount was very high and more than other estimates i received he explained that the result would be worth it because of the quality of the parts he would use and my car would work much better and not break down easily as before. Therefore, I agreed to allow him to do the repair. On 11/30/22, **** contacted me to pick up my vehicle because the repairs were completed. On 1/12/23, I contacted the **** to notify him that my vehicle continued to overheat and requested to have the car towed back to his business for review. **** agreed to accept the vehicle on that date. On 1/13/23. **** requested additional funds to diagnose the vehicle at which time I informed him that I would not be able to give any additional money since the car continue to have the same issue and the previous repair was still under warranty. The business continue to store my vehicle on their lot for an additional 4 days indicating that they were attempting to diagnose the problem. On 1/17/23, I received a text message from **** late in the evening on at approximately 9:00pm informing me that he had limited space on his lot and requesting that I come to his business to pick up my vehicle or it would be parked out on the street, unlocked with the key inside. I was forced to find transportation to get to his location where i found my car parked out on the street. I transported my vehicle back to my home where it is still damaged and undriveable to date.
