I went to the ** April 1st due to severe abdominal pain. I know my history and my body so I knew something was wrong. I was denied an ultrasound when asked. I was provided a CT scan and blood work and sent home with zero explanation as to what the pain was from and told to come back tomorrow when they were less busy. I made an appointment with PIH Women's Health Center in *********, Ultrasound ordered, and results showed possible endometriosis, as well as cysts. ************************ and I discussed options and said surgery is the next step. I was told by the Office Staff a scheduler would be calling me soon. I never received a call, and I called in to check on the status as my pain has been getting worse. I was told they were waiting on insurance and to give it a week. A week went by, I message and they say the scheduler is out of town and she would be in Monday. I get no call, so I call in AGAIN. This time I am told no insurance authorization was needed, but the scheduler was out and they are trying to figure out her job and I would get a call back. Again, nothing. I call again, and was told the Dr gets one surgery day a month and *** is booked so I would have to wait until June. I again express how much pain I am in, and was told they would check with the Dr on if he could squeeze me in. I again received no call. I called again and was promised I would get a call back before 5pm May 1st, which did not happen. I was told the scheduler is out and they are trying to schedule but it is not their normal job. It has been a month and I am being refused care. I asked about seeing another Dr in the office and was told I would have to start all over, even with PPO insurance.

I treatment I received during my recent visit to the emergency room at your hospital. I arrived seeking urgent medical attention, and instead of receiving the care and support I desperately needed, I was ignored, mistreated, and made to feel like I was not worth the medical staff's time or consideration. On Tuesday morning at approximately 2:00 am November 7th I was brought in by ambulance. I presented myself at your emergency room with severe symptoms, which were indicative of a serious health condition. I was in extreme distress and sought immediate assistance. However, rather than receiving prompt and compassionate care, I was subjected to neglectful behavior and judgmental treatment from the medical staff on duty.To my shock and disbelief, it seemed that the medical professionals I encountered were more focused on assuming that I was under the influence of drugs rather than objectively assessing and addressing my medical needs. I assure you that I was not in any altered state due to drugs and that my symptoms were a result of a severe allergic reaction to something I had unknowingly ingested.Despite my repeated attempts to explain the severity of my condition and the urgency of my situation, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. My pleas for help fell on deaf ears, leaving me feeling dehumanized and abandoned in a time when I needed critical medical intervention.Feeling utterly helpless and fearing for my life, I made the difficult decision to leave your facility and seek assistance elsewhere. Fortunately, at the alternative location I visited, the medical professionals promptly recognized the severity of my condition and diagnosed me with anaphylactic shock caused by an allergen ingestion. Their swift response and appropriate treatment saved my , the level of negligence and prejudice I experienced during my time at your hospital is unacceptable and goes against the fundamental principles of patient care and professional ethics.

PIH Health charged our credit card without authorization, without providing a bill, receipt, or justification, for a $200 charge that: (1) is shown on the health insurance claim to be not allowed, and (2) which PIH Health billing themselves said was a "coding error" (telephone conversation with PIHH)
