I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the services provided by *********************************** at Bear Creek Dental Group in April 2023. The treatment received for my elderly mother has been profoundly unsatisfactory, causing undue distress and financial burden to our family. In April 2023, my 77-year-old mother underwent dental treatment at Bear Creek Dental Group under the care of *********************************** due to issues with her teeth. Following an initial check-up, **************** recommended the extraction of two upper teeth and subsequently provided a temporary prosthesis. Regrettably, this prosthesis was ill-fitting and uncomfortable for my mother to wear. Despite notifying **************** of this issue, no corrective measures were taken to address the problem despite the substantial cost of $922.00 incurred for the prosthesis. Subsequently, in June, **************** began the process of creating a permanent partial denture for my mother's upper and lower teeth. Over the course of five months, from June to October, we attended numerous appointments at ******************** office, during which attempts were made to fit the denture. However, the denture was consistently ill-fitting and incorrect each time it was produced. Despite multiple attempts and significant time invested, the prosthesis remained unusable. He only managed to do the lower one, even if my mother tried to use it; it's not possible, it's wrong. After enduring this prolonged and frustrating ordeal for five months, I communicated our decision to discontinue treatment to ****************. He expressed understanding and agreed to refund a portion of the $10,214.00 paid for the services. However, the offered refund of $2,772.00 is grossly inadequate, given the immense physical discomfort, emotional distress, and weight loss of 45 pounds my mother has experienced since April due to her inability to eat properly.This entire situation has caused significant distress to my mother's health and well-being. We trusted **************** and Bear Creek Dental Group to provide competent and satisfactory dental care, but unfortunately, this has not been the case.Therefore, I am formally requesting the following actions be taken:A full refund of the amount paid for the services rendered, totaling $10,214.00.An acknowledgment of the hardship and distress caused to my mother due to the inadequate care and inconvenience caused by the multiple failed attempts at denture fitting.A commitment from Bear Creek Dental Group to review and enhance their procedures to prevent similar instances from occurring in the future.I trust that prompt action will be taken to address this matter appropriately. Please provide a response within 14 days to resolve this issue satisfactorily.Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I am rejecting this response because: the absence of any communication initiated by the concerned party after filing the complaint. Despite our efforts to arrange a meeting, we have consistently been advised to await their outreach, a correspondence that, regrettably, has not materialized to date.
