Westcom Property Management is the company we hired for Villas at ********. There are three instances where Management (*****************************) and ***** of ********* of four members. President ***************************** and ******************************** have not given updates to three common area locations. Gate closure, elevator and garage flood. After repeated emails asking about the safety and the resolution, or update via meeting have gone unanswered. I pay dues in a timely manner, never have been late and management/HOA board communication is lacking about the safety. Incident 1: garage gate was stuck and issue couldn't get fixed so the gate was left open. There have been reported thefts in the garage. Why didn't management or board immediately call as emergency? Incident 2: a homeowner was stuck in an elevator and fire department was called. The homeowners were not given an update by management or board of directors to give us what cause the issue and if it's safe and been resolved. I use the stairwell for fear it might get stuck again. Again no word after emails. Incident 3: recent rain last month caused a flooding in the ********* asked what caused the problem and if this was resolved and heard nothing back. If I did get a response, management wrote "hire an attorney" As someone paying dues as a stakeholder for the property and getting pushbacks from Management and HOA is appalling. I own 1 of 17 units and want to know where the money is going, if they are not taking care of the safety of homeowners or give updates via meeting or minutes.Initial Complaint

This company and HOA representatives have done a terrible job in helping residents recover from the 2019 Sylmar fires. The HOA decides to increase fees as a result of the lack of fire coverage. The contractor they selected to execute work for repair has installed some defective windows that the HOA is refusing to investigate and they send unprofessional email messages out to me in all bold and sometimes CAP format. They have been advised of their unprofessionalism but this one person by the name of Stephen continues to be rude.
