I submitted my background check for my new job on 04/16, and it's now 04/26 and it's still pending. I do not have a record and there should be no ethical reason why this is taking so long. I am worried that the delay in processing my background check is going to push out my start date.Initial Complaint

Requested a refund because my application was never reviewed/considered, manager claims they tried to contact me regarding my application, however cannot tell me when and says they do not keep logs. I submitted my application on 6/29, after 48 hours I followed up myself. Their voicemail is always full so you cannot leave messages. Also when I finally spoke with him on 7/5, the apartment had already been rented. The apt manager Zael, said he would contact management regarding my refund. I never heard back. I called him today 7/16 and he says he spoke with management last week. No one has contacted me nor have I gotten a refund.Business response
