I took my car to get a nail removed from a tire. When I arrived to the location, I pulled into their small parking lot in front and used the door handle inside the vehicle to let myself out. They told me it would be around 45 minutes to complete and when it was done, I paid, and when I got into my vehicle I immediately saw that the door handle was broken and no longer operating, which is a complete safety hazard. I got out and spoke to the worker and he began blaming me saying it was already like that when he drove it into the garage, but if it was like this, then how was I able to get out of the vehicle before, and not after they handled my car. They will not take responsibility for the damage and when I got home, I spoke to my wife who then tried calling the shop. They said that the security footage shows nothing of me getting out of the vehicle and that they won't even speak to her because she was not there. They also told her that they do not keep paperwork for the work they perform which sounds like they do unreported work. I got a receipt for the nail removal, but no invoice and nothing on the receipt tells of the work that was done, so either the business is not reporting all of the work they are doing or they are outright lying to customers/vehicle owners about the things they do at this shop. Attached image shows broken door handle, sticking out instead of being flush. Spring to operate door handle was found inside vehicle as well as broken plastic from the door handle.

Hello to whomever it may concern,

I am replying to this case customer complaint that has said that we allegedly broke their door handle. Before working on the vehicle, we had showed the that the door handle was broken from outside and inside. They are still blaming us for doing such when in reality it was previously broken. The girlfriend of the customer called us and told us that we had broken it even though we had let her boyfriend know previously it was broken. We always show the customer before we start work if there is something un usual about their car or anything of that nature. We hold ourselves to a high standard when it comes to providing great customer service. It hurts when such people try to hurt us with lies. We have been in business for over 25 years and we have had nothing but a good response from our community.

Purchase 4 tires after several attempts to balance it has been determined the tires are " out of round." Owner refuses to warranty

Hello to whomever it may concern,

I am replying to this case customer complaint that has complained about tires being out of round and that we refused warranty. This customer has done business with us before and has had issues with us prior. During one incident he had come in to get his air pressure checked on his Camaro. His light was still on and he had said that we allegedly we messed his sensors up and cussed at my employees. The next week he came back to apologize to everyone about being rude and aggressive to us when we checked his air pressure. After that he proceeded to order a lift kit and 4 tires for his pickup. A few days later He came back yelling mad and wanted his money back. Because the lift kit had not came in yet even though it had been only 3 days since we ordered it. So, I proceeded and gave him his FULL REFUND BACK for the lift kit and tires. We told him that it would take roughly a week to get the lift kit in and 1 or 2 days to Install depending on the work. Like I mentioned we gave him a refund and refused to do service him ever again. He had threatened everyone in the shop once again and said horrible and disgusting bad words at all my employees.  As a business owner I have the right to refuse service to anyone that I feel is being aggressive to me or any one of my employees. Please close this case due to fact that this customer had gotten his refund back and the fact that this customer was utterly disrespectful even though we gave him his refund.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at **************.

      Thank You

      Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:

FIRST, I paid *** TIRES to install 4 tires and APS sensors on my Chrysler 300. Upon completion, sensors were NOT functioning and *** TIRES could NOT get them to function. COMPARE THAT TO CAMARO STORY!

SECOND..I purchased 4 new tires for my GMC, and paid to have them mounted, balanced, and installed. While work was being done I DID discuss LIFT KIT options, and decided on a lift. Discussion was with RIZ, owners son as owner was out of town. *** informed me of lead time and I had him order the kit. NO FUNDS WERE REQUESTED OR PAID FOR LIFT KIT OR FUTURE INSTALLATION.

After installation of tires I immediately noticed vibration and contacted RIZ as father was still out. *** assured me he would REBALANCE tires at time of Lift Kit installation. However, a few dares later RIZ contacted me claiming "the warehouse sent wrong Lift Kit and as a courtesy I reordered an upgraded Lift Kit". I new this statement was false because next step up from Lift manufacturer was $1200 more. I informed ***, admittedly less than politely, *** TIRES would NOT be doing the lift.

I contacted with THE **** SHOP, another shop to install the same Lift Kit and check and or rebalance tires. Upon completion, I was informed that tires were defective, "OUT OF ROUND", balancing was Not the issue.

I contacted *** TIRES and explained the findings from THE **** SHOP and asked them to determine if tires were in fact defective, The Owner, ***, stated that they would NO LONGER SERVICE MY VEHICLES. I stated that I had purchased said tires from him, with warranty, and he needed to either balance tires, proving NOT defective, or replace tires, *** told me I had to take issue up with the tire manufacturer. I stated that, for example, if he buys defective ****** from a shoe store he would expect remedy from shoe store not ***** I informed *** that he could either deal with the issues with tires or I would be forced to take *** TIRES to Court. ***'s response was "fine take me to Court."

Finally, I received a phone call from *** a few days ago questioning me about filing this complaint. After said phone call, and reading *** TIRE'S response above, it is clear Small Claims Court is my only option and will be filed.

I came to *** Tires in ********, ** for new wheels. I asked **** the owner, at the front desk to come out and look at my car to make sure we get the right fit (the first time I asked him to look at my wheels first to make sure) before ordering the tires. He told me to just tell him the year and model of the car and assured me what he ordered would fit. 11-06-2021 I put my $100 deposit down for the tires, trusting he knew what he was doing. The following week when the tires came in 11-08-2021, as they were putting the wheels on they told me I needed to order an adapter because the back wheels dont fit. I patiently said okay where do I get one or do you have any? And they pretty much told me to ****** it. I feel if Im paying for the wheels and services, this is something they should take care of. So I have to go home and do my own research. I order adapters online and bring them to the shop. The adapters were too big, but they didnt tell me that. They put it on anyway, and let me drive off with the wheels sticking outside of the wheel well. When I drove a mile down the road, my rear wheels started smoking. I came out and the tires were shredding on the sides because it was rubbing on the wheel well. Not only did it damage the new tires, but it damaged my fender too. When I took it back to them they said I need to get a smaller adapter again they should have told me that or taken care of it. So I go to ********** to find a smaller piece, I take it back to them and they tell me it wont work. At this point Ive been back and forth to this shop, wasting countless hours during my work time, doing things they should have been doing. I took my car to two other tire shops to have them look at it, and came to find they both said *** should not have put these tires on my car, it is very dangerous and it damaged the tires I paid for and my car. *** refuses to refund me and takes no responsibility of the damage or the tires.
