    Had the WORST Customer experience At this Miracle-Ear Hearing center at 1837 E Gibson Rd Suite K, Woodland California. (Hearing Specialist Alice **********) Back in July 2020, I called for an appointment because my Resound GN hearing aid was producing a loud Hum when turned on and could not be remedied by any adjustments I made. When I called for an appointment to the Phone # on my contract, to my surprise, I was told that Teresa ******* of Hearing.com abandoned the office and Miracle -Ear, Alice *********, took over the business. They looked up my file and found the contract and the receptionist said the warranty was for two years, & had expired. I made an appointment with the receptionist and then called REsound GN customer care. At resound I spoke to a customer care representative who advised that even though Their standard warranty is for two years a Hearing Center can add a year to the contract making it 3 years. They were happy to note this in their files as I confirmed I had in my possession a copy of the 3 year warranty from the previous owner Teresa ******* of Hearing.Come. They told me Resound would honor this agreement. When I got to my scheduled appointment .. Alice was adamant that it was only a two year warranty that had expired... she had a copy in my file...The contract had been signed by Teresa and myself on 4/30/2018 stating the warranty period was for 3 years for repair/wear loss and damage. That would make the expiration in 2021. So then Alice decides to call Resound GN to verify the warranty and they advised that there was an entry in their files that I had called earlier and Resound noted the additional year added to the warranty. So there seemed to be no more issue as Resound acknowledged the 3 years. And it is noteworthy that on Alice's website she states ..... her office has a 3 Year repair warranty policy on hearing aids..... Alice's attitude was very BELLIGERENT and RUDE....not really acting like she wanted to help me.... Alice took the hearing aid and sent it back to Resound for repairs and insisted there would be a $50 shipping and handling charge. I noted that there was a repair done under this same warranty previously when Teresa was still the owner and I had never been charged any shipping or handling. Alice did not seem to care and insisted there would be a $50 charge. ON 8/7/20 I went to pick up the hearing aid and paid the $50 S&H charge. B4 I left the office I commented how rudely/disrespectfully I was treated by ALICE and she got very argumentative and demanded me to leave, (to say it nicely). As I see it, since REsound GN was happy to honor the 3 Year warranty that Teresa and I agreed upon and that Alice herself gives to her customers as stated on her website; Why such RUDENESS??? Alice had nothing to loose by handling this issue in a more CIVILIZED Manner!!!!, even though she had not been involved b4 Teresa abandoned the office. (Since Alice took over Teresa's Office and had the files , what did she think her responsibility to those customers were?) SHAME on YOU ALICE !!!! You need to find another line of WORK !!! Certainly nothing to do with CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!
