Client signed hair and makeup services contract for wedding end of April, 2023. Client informed business of wedding date scheduled for October, 2024. Client contacted business to inform of changes to wedding date and location and unable to utilize business services on 28 May 2023, one month later from signing contract that would be enacted over one year and six months away from notification to business. Client felt pressured by business to provide PayPal information and $1,600 deposit for services shortly after consultation phone call. Client did not immediately send payment due to feeling pressured by business. Client did eventually send payment of $1,600 for deposit following emails from business to encourage client to pay deposit before another applicant selected wedding date, more than one year and six months from date of deposit. Client requested refund of $1,600 on 28 May 2023 for no services rendered more than one year and six months from date of deposit. Business sent client cancellation form requesting signature lacking empathy and support to client for needing to cancel services. Client is requesting refund for $1,600 deposit and acknowledgment from business to engage in definitive morals and values when interacting with the public sector and special circumstances involving client needs more than one year and six months in advance.
