Standley Brothers Hot Rod **** did work on my **** GMC pick up. They screwed up my truck doing several things I did not agree to. I filed a complaint with the *** but ***'s reply was bring the truck back and we could work it out. I spent over $81K with his shop and pulled it as soon as I could. I have since spent nearly $40K in mostly repairing the damage/poor craftsmanship he did on ************* *** complaint is attached. It will explain in better detail what he did to my truck. I did not find out that I could not tow with my truck until the current shop got it and did most of the suspension repairs to what Standley Brothers did to my truck. To make me whole, I will need a new frame and nearly a new bed to make the truck like I want. All the parts on my current frame would have to be removed and welded onto the new frame. This is about $50k of repairs. There is no way I would trust him to do any work. The body work he did do, I had to have some of it redone. It turns out the **** GMC frame I brought him could have been used with a kit I have seen on line. Standley Brothers did not know this. This past summer I just found out that my truck is not safe to tow with, hence my late filing this claim. As you can see, I did go to him, ***, and he would not even settle for $10K. $11K would just get me a new frame. I still need to move parts from my frame to the new one and get nearly a whole new bed, since mine was shortened (without my permission- he did it because he felt they are more valuable as a short bed) I gave him photos on a flash drive, the yellow one below, of how I wanted it to look. I have receipts of the long bed sheet metal I bought from LMC Trucks but was told they would not fit and when I went to see why, this is when I found he had already cut and notched my frame, making it a short bed. Please get some of what I spent at his shop back so I can correct this mess. And we have not even mentioned moving the motor back. See *** Complaint.
