I recently stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites, ************** and had a terrible experience. From the moment I entered the room, I noticed a disturbing number of bugs crawling around in the shower. It was absolutely disgusting and made me question the cleanliness standards of the hotel. Not only were the bugs a major issue, but the overall experience was far from satisfactory. The room itself was outdated and poorly maintained, musty smell and with several lightbulbs not working in the lamps, just to name a few. To make matters worse, the noise levels from neighboring rooms were unbearable, making it difficult to get a goods night rest. After speaking with the night auditor, I was informed I could change rooms. The new room that was given to me is really what made my experience go from terrible to an absolute nightmare. Upon entering the room, there was a razor blade sitting on the floor. I contacted the front desk representative right away. Maintenance came to the room, apologizing that they had left the razor blade in the room. This is absolutely unacceptable. After talking to the manager, his response due to these issues seemed as if he really did not care and offered a few points to add to my honors account. I have yet to see the points in my account. I am wanting this to be resolved appropriately and to put yourself in my shoes. This was the most awful experience I have ever had with ******.
