      I purchased a game on 11-25-22 (Black Friday) after seeing the company's ******** advertisement for their "biggest one-day sale of the year." This sale awarded 20% off a purchase (which I received) and my final purchase price was $44.00 (savings of $12). Before committing to the purchase, I reviewed the company's website/free intro file to determine what "size" game package I should purchase (for my guests who would be the players). I ended up selecting the "size" for 6-8 players which states it could be played with 3-4 females. After the purchase was complete, I received an email with the game PDF to download that contains all of the materials needed for game play. In reviewing the **** I discovered the following: 1) the game cannot be played with 3 female players, 2) an inconsistency error with one of the game characters ***** (multiple materials have errors that I am supposed to print for game play), 3) grammatical errors on multiple materials that I am supposed to print for game play and 4) printable materials that are supposed to supplement the game but do not pertain to the game "size" I purchased (the materials contain information that is irrelevant). Aside from these 4 matters, the company posted a ******** advertisement on 11-28-22 (Cyber Monday) which offered $20 off a game purchase - which contradicts their Black Friday advertisement of having the "biggest one day sale of the year." I have been contacting the company since 11-25-22 asking for the following resolution steps: 1) a way to alter the game I purchased for 3 females as stated on the website, 2) a refund of the sales price difference since the day I bought the game was not the biggest one-day sale of the year as advertised (I only saved $12 versus saving $20), and 3) for the typos/grammar errors and character inconsistency to be fixed and the corrected game materials sent to me. I appreciate how long the company has been in business, and I can't imagine I am the first person to point out all of these concerns. But, I expect the game to be free from errors upon purchase and able to be played with 3 females as listed on the website. (As an aside: I figured out a way to play the game with only 3 females on my own and had told the company no further contact was needed - however, I then discovered the issues with the materials and re-contacted them asking for help). I am contacting the BBB for assistance because the company had responded to me initially (on 11-25-22) stating I had "confusion" among other things but then subsequently ignored me/my new requests for a refund and corrected materials. My husband also messaged the company asking about Black Fri/Cyber Mon before all of this happened and was ignored (was a good indicator of future behavior). Furthermore, the company is ignoring other customers as evident by unanswered ******** comments since 11-25-22 (this leads me to believe I am not the only one with issues and prompted me to seek BBB help).

      1) The customer purchased a game that was formatted for 6-8 characters, and is advertised as containing 2-3 male, 3-4 female and 1 gender neutral character. With 6 guests, that would mean you have 2 males, 3 females and 1 gender-neutral. With 8 guests, you would have 3 males, 4 females, and 1 gender neutral characters. She then complained that the game did not have 3 female and 5 male characters. Unfortunately, we cant reformat the game for one person and this is advertised on our site, and this is stated clearly on the site. Additionally, we have had no other complaints from other customers about this not being clear. Attached is a screenshot from our site that clearly states this. 


      2) The customer complained of typos. These typos were corrected by the time she complained, but we had not responded to her at the time. It is sitting in her account.


      3) We did have our biggest sale ever with 20% off of all offerings. This could (and did) equate to $60+ off for some parties. This customer chose a smaller party, thus, a smaller discount with that sale.


      At this point, we do not feel that we are in the wrong. She filed with the BBB before we had a chance to respond to her complaints about the typos, which were corrected.

      Hello! Thank you for sending along corrections to the ******** emailed you from ***** through ***** and allowed adequate time for a reply, I believe. :)  I would not have known to login to a customer profile to find that information since I was not contacted about it.  But, thank you!  I am rejecting this response (partly) because of the false advertising - see attached.  I am not debating that other customers saved more than me on Black Friday (that is obvious since packages cost different amounts depending on the version and type purchased).  I am referring to the Black Friday ******** advertisement which stated Black Friday was the "biggest 1 day sale of the year."  I saved 20% on Black Friday BUT I would have saved $20 if I made my purchase on Cyber Monday (as advertised on ********).  I paid $44 when I could have only paid $35. I am requesting a $9 refund not because other people saved more money than me, but because Black Friday was not the biggest 1 day sale of the year - Cyber Monday was.  I will happliy accept a $9 refund and continue to fix the typos/errors on my own that I found (sadly, yes there were more that what I mentioned initially).
