In July 2023, my mother mistakenly paid $978.00, to Wright Agency for an auto policy that she had already paid another auto insurance agency for a year of coverage.Wright Agency had recently cancelled my mothers home insurance policy with no explanation and my mother thought the auto insurance had also been cancelled as well so she bought and paid for coverage with a different insurer. My mother is almost 80 years old so she made a mistake and paid ******, or Wright Agency for the auto policy when she already had coverage and after noticing the error in July she contacted ****** in hopes of getting a full refund, since she wasn't using the coverage with State Farm because she had already paid for coverage with a different insurer. ****** assured my mother that if she brought her insurance card and declaration page for the current insurer that she should expect a full refund.The refund check requested in July arrived a week ago for less than $300.00, again with no explanation of why she didn't receive the full refund.We have tried multiple times to reach out to ****** Wright, or Wright Agency and as yet we've received no correspondence from ****** or any representative of State Farm to explain why State Farm took almost $600.00, delivered no service yet felt *********** take money from a former client whose only mistake was doing business with an organization with no accountability.
