Inline image Management does not stand behind the products sold in their store. Avoid the BRISTOL POINTE LIQUORS store located at *************************************************************. We purchased a ($23 with tax) boxed wine this evening. We poured one glass, and found the wine to be very sour and acidic. We found an expiration tab at the bottom of the box: "Best enjoyed by September 2021." We purchased this box on 4/20/24. ******* Expiration: A "best-by" date is usually stamped on the bottom of the box. This expiration is typically w/in a year from packaging. The bags used let microscopic amounts of oxygen pass through, into the wine, and after a while, that oxygen will make the wine taste less fresh. Shelf life 6-8 months.Customer Experience: We returned to ******************** not less than an hour after purchase with the box, and told the manager. He told us that we were supposed to look at the date before we purchased it. He also said that wine has a shelf life of ten years and since we opened the wine, he cannot do anything. One person in our party went to the wine shelf and found two other wine boxes (pic avail) from the same brand that had "Best Enjoyed by (dates of) September 2021 and December 2021." We showed the manager and he again said that he would not provide any kind of exchange b/c box wines have a shelf life of 10 yrs. I told him the quality of the wine was not up to standards, and he again would not delivering actual customer service to us, his customers. Conclusion: We left the boxed wine (minus 6 oz. from the initial glass) with the Manager. He told us to take it and throw it out ourselves. We left it on his counter and traveled less than 1.5 miles away and received excellent service at ************* LIQUORS next to the ************************** Dollar at the *********** and ******** intersection. If Towers Landing is owned by the same person/family the manager at this location understands how to run a business.Business response

We're very sorry that our customer, ******, had a negative experience with us. There is no reason why we couldn't have provided the high level of customer service we consistently provide and that we're known for. We take pride in our wine selection, but it looks like our inventory quality control for certain lines of box wines on the day we served ****** was not up to our normal standards.
Accordingly, please notify ****** that we will refund her for the full disputed amount of $24 via money order. We'll also add an extra $30 to the money order as a gesture of goodwill for any inconvenience caused. At our store, we strive to make things right wherever there is a miscommunication or misunderstanding. We look forward to working together on this. Thank you.
