Red flag: They wanted me to commit to buying a building from them BEFORE talking with a contractor who would be doing the labor. That is a huge problem. No guarantee that there would be a contractor in my area, no way to check on their credentials or reviews, and no way to get a price quote or construction availability from the contractor. The negative reviews on the BBB website without a single response from the company were also a red flag. That's too bad too, because I liked their price and construction details, but way too many negatives to move forward.

Our Engineered building was delayed by 5 months and the it was delivered and it was Engineered incorrectly. We were able to cut and rework the steel ourselves but were not offered any refund. This put our build back 4 weeks into the winter and snow. We would not buy anything from this company ever again. We were also a cash buyer.

Where to start. The building was finally delivered a year late. I ordered it and sent my down payment in April of 2022 with an ECD of September 2022. Then they said delivery would be Q1 2023, then June 2023, then November 2023. Then the owner made a video saying that they could move small buildings, like mine, up in the schedule. After I called about that, I was told that he didn't really know what he was talking about. After another round of me griping, it was delivered in September 2023. It was so late that the price of insulation went up and they made me pay an extra $700 or so or I wouldn't get the building. When the delivery arrived, there was some damage that I photographed and sent pictures. I told them that I couldn't tell how bad the damage was until the erection. After erection, I sent more pictures and offered a cheap way for them to have it made right. I even told them that I would ignore some of the damage. They said it wasn't their fault and wouldn't do anything. Absolutely horrible customer service from day one until past the end. The painting is also not good as some of the beams have rusted. They do not work on a schedule, rather a que. This is probably why they can't meet any kind of schedule. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Do not trust anything they tell you.

PLEASE READ and always look over all the fine print before signing anything! when researching a company to purchase a building, by my own fault only read the first reviews. I was contacted by ***************************** that asked what we are looking for. We Needed a building in a certain time frame since it was needed to store the following years crop. ******* is a great salesperson; we were given the whole lowdown on a small family company and can guarantee the timeline for delivery. which would be end of September 2021 give or take a month, that conversation took place on April 29, 2021.In comes ************************* our project manager to introduce himself and let us know he has finalized all paperwork and our payment of $25,236.30, but due to unforeseen circumstances we are pushing back all deliveries. THIS SCHEDULING PUSH HAS RENDERED MY SCHEDULE THAT I MAY HAVE GIVEN YOU NULL AND VOID. Now its 2022 and no delivery date is in the future, after requesting a refund we were notified that all down payments are nonrefundable, and they highly recommend we go forward with building since it is in production. *************************** reached out on October 4, 2023, to say the building is ready to ship and needs balance of building wire transferred. They had a fit when I sent them check instead. I told them we waited 2 1/2 years for a building that is USELESS to us now so they can wait 4 days to get a check.Truck Driver said they didn't even have the building completed to load and haggled with shipping cost. I did inventory as truck was being unloaded, there are no overhead doors when I contacted them, they credited us back amount for doors since price has gone up and let us know we can purchase locally. Yes, ***** certainly has gone up triple the price of 2 years ago. Once again, it's on me for not reading the fine print which clearly states with a magnifying glass that they may cancel any third-party resources. Our building will now cost triple to construct!Thank You GWB for nothing.

I was referred to great western through a friend of mine. I have worked with a lot of manufacturers before and **** at great western has been the best by far.
