This company overcharged significantly from the original quote and damaged my property. They additionally claimed that my items were on their way multiple times, but yet it took over 42 days to arrive. They have no business operating in this industry and should be investigated for fraudulently business practices. I would like a refund of the portion of my services that were overcharged from my original quote. It's important to note that I had to leave additional belongings behind in an effort to avoid being further charged.

      With all due respect.

************ was one of our customers.

      Customer **** requested a Storage  .

Customer Wards goods was delivered with no violation.

Customer on the day of the delivery tried to not pay the agreed delivery balance and tried to keep her goods for free but that didn't happened  that's why Customer **** is falsely accusing us here on BBB.

Customer **** had legal 30 days to file a claim with court  and she failed to do so.

We did nothing wrong to this customer.

It's just another ungrateful and racist Customer.

      Thanks

I am rejecting this response because I did pay the full price and MORE than what I originally was quoted. Any suggestion that I didn't pay is a LIE, which is why I got a lawyer involved in this situation. I was overcharged as I previously stated by more than $3,220 and I had multiple items broken because they did not properly care for my belongings. My boxes looked like they had been thrown or left in the weather. These individuals have NO BUSINESS HAVING A LICENSE TO OPERATE IN ANY STATE. They are scam artist and calm they did nothing wrong. I still would like a refund from what I was overcharged and would like my broken items also to be replaced in the form of a discount. Finally, I would suggest that the Better Business Bureau investigate this company as they should not be operating in this industry.

      Sincerely,

      Complaint: 18046019

I am rejecting this response because:

      A) They have not offer any resolution to my complaint.

      B) I have submitted valid evidence that the movers did not deliver my items within 30 days;

      C) I have submitted valid evidence that they damaged my property; and

D)I have submitted valid evidence that they overcharged me significantly from the original quote by Best State Movers and I even had to leave items behind due to this overcharge.

All this company has done in response is name-call and slander me. As I have repeatedly said, there is no way that they should be in business to scam people as they clearly do not do a good job communicating nor providing the services that they allege to do.

      Sincerely,

H and M Relocation was the company that was contracted out for me from ****************. They were late on the day of pick up without a phone call to tell me. Since then the communication has been below poor. I was unable to contact their customer service line via phone because it is a text only line. I was able to text with them and have included my text exchange with ***** in my uploads. I was told to call customer service at **************** to help me. (filed a BBB complaint for them already). I waited a few days for any news from either company and never received one. I called and talked to ***** who assured me my belongings would be on the way very soon and he was willing to refund me some of my money for packing charges. Those charges included packing a TV into a box which was a $300 charge. I was charged for extra space even though I had updated my inventory with All Coast. ***** told me he would work with me on that and would call me the next day. It has been 10 days since I spoke to him last. He hasn't returned texts or calls, I am unable to leave a message and no texts have been returned from their "customer service" line. The contract states that they have 24 days from the earliest day of drop off to deliver my items. Today is day 24 with no word from them. The fuel charge for this trip has also gone up $104 with no explanation. I have packing charges that have no explanation. I had all my things packed and they only thing they had to pack was my TV in the box that I had ordered when I spoke with All Coast. Anything they had to wrap was included in their services. I believe they are in breech of contract at this point and I should not have to pay any extra monies to them.

Company has had my belongings since July 19th.  I have not received any updates without having to reach out first.  My earliest drop off date was July 25th.  It is now September 10th and I still dont have my belongings.  Based on the length of time past my delivery date and being treated unkindly, I believe an adjustment should be made to my balance   Legally the company should have been giving me updates of their progress and arrangements for a new delivery date.  This is not the case.  Customer service has been horrible and the owner hasnt contacted me when he said he would.

This moving company has stole all our belongings and is refusing to release them to us, it has been over 2 weeks now and anytime we try to contact the company they have been ignoring our phone calls and have been harassing us over text, all the belongings and furniture they have contains all what we bought with out hard earned money and we can not afford to buy new ones. We also have all our documents in the boxes they have; we need those documents to do a lot of things, we can not apply for school, or a job without those documents that they have and they are not willing to release them to us. This company (HM relocation services/H&M relocation services ) is trying to scam us, they keep on increasing the amount of money that we initially agreed on and they have been harassing us over texts and we are scared for our safety because they know where we live. We are afraid that even after we pay, they will not bring us our stuff. Please help us, we dont know what to do anymore this is very stressful.

      Hi

      With all due respect.

Yes this is one of our customers who hired our company to Relocate their goods from *********** ** to OH.

Our crew traveled from ****** ** to *********** ** by spending 10hrs only just to get there. Upon arrival customer tried to add more items and right away customer received the New revised Visual estimate based on additional goods that was added.  Customer agreed to charges and signed the Contract prior our services began.

By the end of the services  customers supposed to be making the necessary pickup payment so company could move forward with the services,  but customer  instead paying the bill tried to s**** our company by telling our crew to leave her property,  and threatened them to call police.

This is unfair for our crew members,  that customer acted this way.

At this point after so many attempts to resolve this matter  - Customer still didn't paid the balance for the services that was already provided  and still ignoring our attempts.

This is the reason why we took legal actions according to our contract and DOT regulations.

Customer has 30 days to file a claim with court

      Or can contact our attorney's.

Full info was sent to customer via text and emails by our company and by brokers.

And according to what you said earlier about us adding extra stuff, didnt we say we were going to pay for all the extra stuff we added? Yes we did, you told us the amount we were going to pay for all the extra stuff and we agreed to pay it so I dont get where the problem is coming from right now.

We did spent money to do the job , we did paid storage fees , we told you via email,  texts, calls that you had deadlines.

You ignored our calls, you ignored calls and emails that was sent to you by brokers as well.

      You played well game .

Here is no respect for You.

      Your deadlines end .

Please pay your balance for the services that was provided to you and pickup your goods before 8/28/202 . This is final notice and BBB is the witness in this matter.

      Dear BBB

This customer hired our company to move his property from *********** ** to ********* **.

Our company did his part of the contract and send out from ****** ** to *********** **.  The job was completed and customer promised to make the necessary pickup payment so we could move forward with delivery ETA,  but customer told us that he is going to bring the money orders as a form of the payment and disappeared since then.

Our crew came back to ** without receiving any payments.  Therefore payment wasn't received and the job currently is in ****** ** safe and secure,  after deadline ends customers belongings will be donated to charity organizations like Salvation Army.

Again customer didn't paid to our company anything  $0.00 , a d his shipment costing us still financially,  so therefore we are not able to cover this expenses for this scam customer.

      Reports are filed

And legal actions against this customer is taken

what do you mean we have been ignoring your calls when you guys are the ones that stopped picking our calls at first you picked the call and all you did was yell and be disrespectful the. After that you stopped picking all our calls and you started texting us and every single time youd use extremely disrespectful language and use profanity against us, we have evidence, both audio and text message screenshots of you cussing at us, calling us scum bags and using the **word in every sentence you text to us. That is very unprofessional and thats not how you should operate your business. You have also been extremely racist to us and we can see that by the way you talk to us. Youre claiming we refused to pay , yet, we also have screenshots and a lot of audio recordings of us ASKING you how we can pay and asking you to send the account details that you want to be paid and you responded back with something along the lines of keep your F payment, we dont want your payment anymore and proceeded to use more insulting language against us when we have done nothing to you. What you did and the way you have treated us bas been very very unfair and disrespectful and I hope you know that karma will catch up to you and your workers very soon because we are obviously not the ones scamming here you guys are, all the hundreds of reviews we have seen about this company are absolutely DISGUSTING everyone has had the same experience as us and bas been treated so badly like you did to us, just read the reviews they speak for themselves, you taking peoples belongings and refusing to return deliver them and using very abusive language and bullying people whenever they ask for their stuff back. Thats just not how things should be done! And I dont understand your whole point of filing a court whatever when you are very OBVIOUSLY the one in the wrong here thats ridiculous lets see how that goes, because Im pretty sure you committed a great offense called theft and harassment we are the ones thats supposed to be filing stuff against you guys, especially when we have ALL the evidence against you. You cant keep getting away with stealing peoples properties like that, its very unfair because I wonder why you cant put yourself in other peoples shoes and think hmm what would I do and how would I feel if a moving company decided to steal all our properties and throw them away Im sure you wouldnt be happy so think about how the victims of your scams would feel to. Im sure God/Allah will not be happy with everything you are doing. Youve been very insulting, racist, and we have evidence of every single thing, youre now sending a message saying 8/28/2022 is the last day to pay and pick up our stuff why didnt you tell us this earlier, how come youre now just telling us on the 31st that the 28th is the last day to pick up our stuff that doesnt make any type of sense whatsoever. All that language you have been using towards us you are mad that we didnt fall for your game, go ahead and contact your court and lets see how it goes and lets see what they think about you threatening and harassing us, Im sure theyll love that

Everest Relocation (broker) was dishonest about being a broker when I schedule an interstate move from ******, ** to *********, **. They hired H&M Relocation to *************, without my consent or approval. Everest Relocation provided a last revised estimate of $4955. Once I found out Everest was a broker I asked for my $2300 deposit back to use another company. They said they would not refund me, which is against DOT law but I was unaware at the time. H&M Relocation arrived at my home, walked through and then loaded my goods into the truck. They provided me a closing statement of $7991.80 without me consenting to an updated or revised quote. I asked if they could unload my items or let me pick them up from their warehouse and hire other movers. They said no so I paid the balance owed. H&M Relocation claimed my successful wire transfer from USAA was returned. My bank ran a wire trace and proved them to be incorrect. They proceeded to hold my items hostage for 30 days in ******, ** claiming I still owed a balance that. I had already paid and added SITs and other fees. H&M Relocation sent hostile and threatening text messages and emails during that timeframe. Everest Relocation said they could not do anything because my agreement was with H&M Relocation. However, after requesting my Bill of Lading and other documents multiple times, I never received any paperwork from them. I took pictures of the documents I signed but none of those were a Bill of Lading or last revised quote to amount to their excessive costs. H&M Relocation stopped claiming my wire transfer did not go through and admitted they received it to Everest Relocation. According to the closing statement, I owed $864.40. They refused to delivery my goods unless I paid $1064. They hired a different moving company to bring my goods from ****** to ********* that I did not consent to because they aren't licensed and I had to pay them the delivery fee. Many items are damaged and they refuse to allow claims

      Complaint: 17668009

I am rejecting this response because: I was not prepared to pay over $4K in extra fees because those fees were applied illegally, without my consent, so I paid partially with a personal check of the amount of $2,000 upon delivery on 6/29 and wired the rest on 7/1 as agreed by H&M Relocation upon pickup. H&M Relocation said "as soon as possible" and did not provide a deadline. The amount I wired on 7/1 was $2853.40 and I had already put a deposit down of $2274.14 so I paid a total of $5127.54 by 7/1, which was already $172.54 over the amount I owed/legally consented to based on the last revised estimate of $4955. Further, H&M Relocation sent an email update on 7/5 stating that the truck that was going to pick up my goods had been diverted and they did not have an update on when my goods would be picked up. On 7/6 I got a notification from my bank that my $2K check had bounced because with driving cross country and not expecting to pay thousands of dollars more than I consented to, I forgot to transfer the money into the checking account I used for payment. I reached out to H&M Relocation the moment I found out and let them know they could deposit the check since I transferred the funds. They told me they couldn't so I immediately wired them the funds on 7/7. There was not a truck available to deliver my goods during the timeframe from pickup to when the money is*** was resolved so their claim that they held my goods for 30 days due to my payment is*** is not valid. They claimed that my successful wire transfer, with a federal tracking number and successful confirmation, was returned and sent me a screenshot of a debit from their bank account for $2,000. I asked for an error message or help understanding what went wrong which they refused to provide. I provided proof multiple times that my payment had gone through, my bank confirmed, I had them run a wire trace that was successful that all showed the $2,000 they claimed was returned was in fact delivered on 7/7. H&M Relocation continued to hold my goods hostage without cause and attempted to make me pay another $2,000, that they already received, plus SITs fees. They used holding my goods hostage, threatening to *** me and telling my I was committing a felony, along with hostile communication to try to bully me into paying them more money. They delivered my goods 30 days exactly after the pick up date, and never at any point told me that my payment is*** was resolved because there wasn't a payment is*** and I refused to pay them any more money. They also told me they assessed fees so my pickup fees were $1064 instead of the $864.40 the closing document stated. They did this because the entire move cost $1064 since they illegally outsourced my move to a 3rd party since they aren't even licensed to move in **********. I had to pay the driver $1064 upon delivery and his Venmo was a completely different company name. H&M Relocation lied to me and told me the driver was from their company. H&M Relocation also lied to me and told me my goods were dropped off at a storage unit on 7/28 and that my goods would be auctioned off in 30 days if I didn't pay them more money. To my surprise, on the 29th they told me to coordinate with the driver for delivery. They are scammers and will use any tactic they can to get more money. They even told me they were going to be the better player of this game in a text (attached). Now they are refusing to allow me to submit insurance claims for all of the damaged items, including a $6k 75" TV. I still have not received a bill of lading or any paperwork from them, they will not allow me to submit claims for the items they broke and their claims about my faulty payments are false.

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

      Complaint: 17668009

I am rejecting this response because:

The items damaged I would like to submit insurance claims on from the move are in the original inventory list. They are in the estimated quotes, as well as the inventory list H&M Relocation created while loading the items into the truck. There are no notations of any damage of those items. I have pictures of them prior to being loaded. I have video footage of my TV functioning, I have pictures and videos of the tv not working upon arrival. I have provided pictures of the other items that were part of the inventory and their damage that I have sent to H&M Relocation and they are refusing to provide insurance information for me to submit claims as they are legally obligated by the *** to do.

They referred to the revised estimate. The last revised estimate I received was from Everest Relocation for $4955 and includes the items that were damaged from the move in that estimate. I never received another revised estimate from H&M Relocation prior to them loading the truck. I received a closing document with the revised cost that I did not consent to.

If H&M Relocation has this revised quote that they are referring to they need to provide it.

The last revised estimate was $4955. I paid $2274.14 for a deposit, $4853.40 for pickup and $1064 for delivery which totals $8191.54. I am due a refund of $3236.54 plus the ability to submit claims for the goods that were damaged from the move.

Technically, H&M Relocation is not licensed to move goods into **********. This plus the harassment I endured and them holding my goods hostage, I should get a full refund.

H&M Relocation has not provided any proof to their counter claims and I have provided explicit proof of mine. There are numerous client complaints and multiple news station stories on the horrible business practices of H&M Relocation. I would have never hired them for my moving job but Everest Relocation posed as a moving company, turned out to be a broker, and hired H&M Relocation for the job. I was back into a corner and had no other choice but to allow them to load the truck. I had not received a quote for any additional costs prior to them loading the truck. The extra charges and not allowing me to submit insurance claims for my damaged goods are both unlawful and unethical.

This company should not be allowed to do this to anyone else.

      Sincerely,

After 10 days I called ****************** and the driver, both stated another week. After over a month I received a call from an attorney that was representing someone who used H&M as well. He stated she had some of my items in ********. He also stated that some of my items were in *******, **. The driver/owner was arrested at her home in ***** on 2 outstanding warrants for theft. I gave this company over $1400.00 and my TV and TV stand are missing. I had to retrieve my items from both locations. The owner refuses to answer my calls or texts and sent me to his lawyers which neither are taking his case.

This customer ****** is a Scam.
The customer lied about Items last. Instead 6 bedroom sets , customer had **** or **** mini warehouse. Customer had totally different items , not the items she was quoted for. After revised estimate Customer agreed to the new price based on actual items. Customer canceled the job after 2 days of our work, and customer was offered 3 different options but customer didn't accepted. It looks like customer was prepared for this type of scam by hiring moving company and in the end trying to accusing us on something that never happened just to get services for free or claim insurance. Our contract was presented to customer on the beginning prior to signing. We provided this customer with location of the storage where her goods are and we have texts and we have the Officer ******* from ******* police department can prove that. The Customer ****** is a liar and played and still playing well game. The Fact that customer ignored and ignoring our calls and text Messages since the day of pickup was done **** g us to think that it was well planned to accuse our company in the future. We offered to Customer ****** : to pick up her goods from our warehouse in ****** no later than 5/25/2022 because starting from 5/25/22 additional SIT fees can be added. H&M Relocation Services didn't demand additional money - H&M Relocation requested from Customer ****** the agreed balance that customer supposed to be paying to H&M ******************** to complete the job, but customer since then disappeared and not responding to our calls or texts. Again H&M Relocation never kept or keeping anyone's goods a hostage. H&M Relocation Services has legal authority to keep people's goods up to 90 days if customer violated the contract and if the agreed balance not paid until Courts decision. Customer was provided with our attorney's information. We asked her to Contact our attorney if she doesn't want to speak with us. But as we noticed the Customer ****** is a totally scam. And customer aling with her attorney received the full copy of the contract and still lying about it. This two most dishonest people's that we ever seen. Customer ****** wrote a $0.00 on balance due upon delivery while our ******* was loading her goods to the truck and now playing games that by saying that her balance it's a $0.00. No we have full contract along with New Revised estimate which was signed prior to services began. The Customer ****** along with her Attorney refused and still refusing to contact us or our Attorney. Customer ****** needs to pick-up her goods immediately. Our company H&M Relocation also has all legal rights to refuse the service to any customers if necessary, Customer Pirter is one of them.
At this point we see only fals accusations by Customer Pirter and her Attorney therefore our attorney ***************** on it.
Again Customer *************************** is trying to scam our Company.
Customer ****** had to pick up her goods immediately.

My complaint is with ******************* (possible alias) owner of H&M relocation services and possibly his driver *****, phone number **************. I have paid the broker company Allstate Moving and Storage ************** (which reasured me they were not a broker but an independant moving company) a deposit of $4470, which was supposed to be credited to the full balance, to move my things from a storage unit in ********, ******** to my new property in *****, ********, my quote of which was $9980, which should have left me with a remaining balance of $5510, which matches my contract. On the first load, I paid $5000 in cash and gave a check for $462. The truck they brought on May 9th was only ****sqft, 800sqft less than specified in the contract and would not carry the horse panels I specified needed moving so the driver ***** left to ****** to attempt to aquire another moving truck. Before leaving, he said we needed to pay another $**** past our contract to take the horse panels. I was then told that to deliver the ****sqft promised in the contract, they would need $7000 more than was stated in the contract. The driver brought another ****sqft truck and completely filled it, 400sqft more than was in the contract. I was told that my checks were no good, despite being them being cashed. My things are now being held ****** for the above mentioned $7000 in an unknown storage facility in ******, ******** and I am being told I will be charged $**** a month for storage cost. I believe *********************** real name is Huseyn ************ I have the contract for review. I also have witnesses to this as well as supporting documents.

******************************* is one of our customers.
Our company H&M provided **************** with Services. **************** insisted giving to All-State Moving accurate inventory list She just told them over the phone there is 6 bedrooms of bedroom sets only . When our crew showed up it wasn't a 6 bedrooms house it was **** or **** mini warehouse full of Household goods along with Horse Farm Goods like 28ft Horse ******* ******************* along with other bulky items. Customer lied about her inventory tried to get a deal by telling to Sales representative that she has only 6 bedroom sets. Our ******* notified the customer about the reality of her move and give Customer ****** new revised estimate based on actual items that supposed to be taken. Customer disagree with new estimate and agreed to ****cf +location fees, + bulkyitems fees (25% of the total ) customer ****** agreed to it and signed the contract prior our services began. Customer agreed to pay the requested balance but after 2 days of hard work and 24hours driving time customer ****** decided to cancel the job. Customer paid $7460 only and the payment she made is was enough to cover 1 truck of her goods. Customer didn't wanted to pay additional $3000 for second truck so we could proceed with delivery. After customer decided to cancel the job , our company notified customer that she will be charged for 2 days of services that was provided by Local rates and she can pick up her goods from our storage facility in ****** ** or still we was able to deliver one of the truck only to OK for the amount of $7460 that was paid to H&M. Customer disagree with the offer and threatened with complaints and reports. So we did full filed our services and contract that was signed by Customer ******. But customer ****** she is the one who breaks the contract that she signed. We do care about each customers that we already served or going to Serve and we do care about our reputation. Customer paid only for 1 truck $7460 and our company is willing to deliver 1 truck of her goods to OK, but the second truck customer either needs to pay 2nd truck with her will be released back to customer at anytime. Customer Pirter was dishonest since the beginning with so.much lies, we can provide BBB with photos, phone conversations, video recordings along with full contract.
Customer ****** illegally tried to close the job by herself by writing a $0.00 on our **** of lading while our crew was loading her goods. With all due respect we would like BBB to contact us to get more accurate information and response to this complaint. Our team along with our attorney always open for discussion on this matter . Customer ****** falsely accusing us which is not appreciated.

      Complaint: 17204152

I am rejecting this response because: Why would a moving company continue loading when the load type and amount were more than the agreed upon load type and amount in the contract. If the company response is accurate and I lied about what I was moving and the amount, and even if the load type didn't matter as much as they state, why would they load anything at all, whats more past the agreed upon amount, adding $7000 more than the contracted price, an extra fee which is only verbal and not in any contract? When I made the contract with Allstate to move my things, before they brokered an agreement with H&M without my knowledge, I specified exactly that we would have a 15 by 50 storage unit of household goods, equipment and a large amount of farm and ranch equipment. I agree that they have pictures of ranch equipment in the storage unit, but these things were communicated on my end to Allstate before I ever knew H&M existed, so their complaints about my dishonesty are unfounded. I have a witness that was present when the driver arrived and saw that, despite my binding contract for my move showing specifically that I would only pay $9980, I was being charged another $**** and then was told it would be another $7000. I was adamant and clear that I would not pay more than the original price quoted and finally agreed to the $**** out of necessity, meaning they would take the horse panels and the rest of my ****sqft load, then I recieved a call that the company loaded almost all of my storage unit, a great deal more than the original ****sqft. They wanted the $7000 payment and I told them it was not in the contract, and I simply didn't have the money so as I would not accept the service, they could not take my things and would have to unload them. *****, the driver, said that he would agree to the additional $**** I had been convinced to pay the day before and he would move my things, but then I received a text from him the next day saying that his boss ***** was angry with him and ***** would be calling me. He did not. Eventually I called ***** myself and he insisted again on the $7000 again and told me that if I couldn't pay, my things would be kept in a storage unit in Aurora and I would be billed for the charges.

      Sincerely,

Customer Acct# ********* ********************* picked up our household goods on Thurs, 1/20 and promised delivery within 30 business days. As of today, 3/30, not only have we NOT received our items, their contracted 3rd party vendor, H&M Relocation, has ceased all communication in notifying or updating us on when our shipment would be delivered. On Thurs, 1/20, ***** w/H&M Relocation advised our final balance at delivery would be $876.60. He ****** mapped our home in MD & confirmed THREE times that we would not be charged any additional monies upon delivery. On Thurs, 3/22, ***** texted that an additional $1,485 "Shuttle Fee" would be owed at delivery due to "no access for a 53ft 18 ******* tractor and trailer", even though we've had 2 other vehicles of similar size deliver to our home w/NO issues. ***** demanded payment & was extremely aggressive in his threats, advising our goods would be put into storage, plus storage fees if we did not pay the balance in full upon delivery. We did not refuse to pay at any time, yet his responses are extremely rude & aggressive. ***** advised our goods would be delivered on either Fri, 3/25 or Sat, 3/26, and that the driver would CALL us 24 hours ahead of time to confirm date/time/payment upon delivery. The last TEXT we received from ***** was on Thurs, 3/24 at 10:12a EST. Multiple texts were returned to him, inquiring when our shipment would be delivered & we've received ZERO responses. On Sat, 3/26, we emailed NLMG an email in length, asking for help & filing a complaint for their lack of customer service. On Mon, 3/28, NLMG confirmed receipt of our email & asked us to confirm we received our goods. As of today, 3/30, NLMG nor H&M Relocation has confirmed the status or whereabouts of our goods. We have been sleeping on air mattresses for over 2 months & this is UNACCEPTABLE! We just want to know where our goods are & WHEN they will be FINALLY DELIVERED to our home PLEASE!

Customer Sunhi Price is one of our customers.
The issue was that customer attempts 4 times to make the payment via **** which didn't go through and was the reason that our bank account got primary closed. We asked customer Price to make the payment in different form of payment but it customer to pay the balance almost 2 months which affected the delivery time.
Otherwise we provided this customer with best service that we could.
      Error was on customers end
