We booked our July 4th vacation back in Feb of 2024, through ****. We were contact by ***** to cancel that reservation and book directly through her to save money. So we went ahead and made direct reservations with Accommodations Vail Beavercreek and paid in full.Monday, June 10, we received on email from ***** that there was a maintenance issue and that the unit we had reserved was taken offline - but she had secured a 3 bedroom plus loft at ******** for the same price. I had agreed to that unit, not expecting any issues as I both received an email and phone call confirming this. The next day when I asked for pictures and confirmation I was met with spotty responses and then a request for more monies as all of a sudden there was a change in pricing. When I went back to the written email stating the same pricing I was told they would see what they could do but still was left in limbo if we actually had a unit or not. There were text messages back and forth with promises of securing us a unit but never any follow through. Finally on Thursday, June 13th I asked for a confirmation by 12 pm, as we were needing to find other accommodations - I didnt receive anything by 12. I contacted Bear Paw and there is NO maintenance going on with the unit, that was a blatant lie and I found two other guests that have had the exact same situation happen to them, where their trip was canceled and weeks before arrival due to maintenance when that is not true and the unit is either listed at a higher price or booked for someone else for a longer length of time. Tonies lack of professionalism, honesty and customer service is atrocious. She is ruining peoples pre planned vacations and lying to them for the reason without any solution given to the guests. I do not want anyone else to have to go through this situation.
