Date of service: 3/24/21 I was billed for service provided on 5/8/21. I paid Boulder Valley Ear ***************************** $295.37 via credit card in person, on 6/2/21 . On 6/8/21 and 6/28/21, I received bills requesting payment . I called to resolve the issue and was asked to provide proof of payment. I emailed a screenshot of my credit card statement as the acceptable proof of payment. I thought it had been resolved, as I had not heard anything more from this business. On 12/2/22 I received a copy of a bill, which did not look authentic, for $295.37. On 1/4/23 I received a Final Notice to pay this bill. On 1/16/23, I again called to resolve this issue. I was told that the office had switched billing companies and they were experiencing problems with file transfers and double billing. I again was told to provide proof of payment. I expressed frustration that this is now the second time that I am being harassed to provide proof of payment for a bill that I promptly paid almost two years ago. I asked how many times is this going to happen? I was hung up on! A patient/customer calls to resolve an issue before it goes to collections, for a bill that has already been paid, and the business hangs up!?!? Especially when they KNOW they have been experiencing issues with billing after they switched companies?
