This company offers sheet music to the public. When you go to look for a piece of music, the website tells you that you can begin a 30-day trial for free with no credit card information. After one goes through all the trouble of creating an account, giving over my data, and signing up for the free trial, the site informs me I must pay to see the thing I just was told I could see if I started a free trial. They are asking for $59/month as a subscription price, when I was told I could access that very piece of sheet music by signing up for an account and starting the trial. Not only this, but they have no information or links on the site informing the customer how to remove our data and information and close our accounts from their database. This is unacceptable and probably illegal. I would like this company to stop making this claim.Business response

This is *********************, manager of MakeMusic Customer Support. I see you spoke to one of our support agents yesterday who helped you delete your account. It's clear you had an unsatisfactory experience and you felt misled. I'm sorry you had such a poor experience.
With that acknowledged, I also wanted to say that your experience does not sound typical of most customers. You should have been to access sheet music during your trial period without submitting payment information. I suspect some technical issue may been at play, but since you're account is already deleted I'm afraid I can't know for sure what might have happened. Whatever the case, should you ever decide to try out MakeMusic Cloud again, we'd be glad to help you do so and make sure you can access our catalog successfully!
Lastly, I wanted to clarify one detail from your BBB submission, which is that our subscription price is $59.99/year, not $59.99/month.
