On 11/3/2022 a transaction was made to Lotus Plumbing and Tile LLC, owned by *****************, for a total of $12,000. Mile High Plumbing Company financed $7000 of this payment since the owner of the residence was unable to pay in entirety upfront. The invoice number on this transaction is ****. ************** committed to excavating the entire front lawn at *****************************************************************. He was then to entirely redo the sewage line from where it had originally exited the residence out to the sidewalk/ city street. The agreement was that he would then lay appropriate pebbles and soil around the new pipe line at a depth according to City code. There was a permit pulled for this job and the job passed inspection. It was reported on 1/23/2023 that there was flooding occurring in the downstairs bathroom and bedroom of the residence. ***************** was called and came out to see what the problem was on 1/24/23. At this point in time, *** claimed that a larger vehicle had left tire tracks over the sewer line near the sidewalk and had caused damage to the pipeline below. On 1/25/23 *** dug a hole down to the line to expose a put in point near the road. He then wrote up a quote asking for $5,100 additional dollars to fix the broken line. Two more plumbers from different companies as well as a home owners insurance agent and an excavator then came out to provide second opinions. On 2/3/23 it was noted by *********************** with *************** that the tire marks, which were still apparent on the lawn, did not line up with where the sewer line ran down below. Further, upon inspecting the ground around the exposed pipe where *** had dug a hole it was notable there were no pebbles or proper grounding laid around the line. In all likelihood there was not proper bedding laid along the entirety of the sewage line installed in September of 2022. Further, there was a considerably sized piece of flat broken CVC pipe floating in and blocking the line. .
