On Monday, March 27, 2023, I placed a food order for delivery directly through the Illegal Petes ****** website. I did not get to choose who delivered my food, but the order ended up being assigned to DoorDash for delivery. Apparently there was a glitch in the system, and my food was delivered to the incorrect address, nowhere near my home. I never received my order, but I was charged by Illegal ****'s. I immediately contacted ******** and they informed me that Illegal ****'s would have to refund my order because it was placed through the restaurant's website. The next day, on March 28, I heard back from the general manager of Illegal ****'s ****** that they would not be able to reimburse me, and that ******** would have to refund me. So, I followed up with ******** again, and they informed me that they would not be able to refund me and that it is the restaurant's responsibility. This has been a lot of back and forth and neither one of these businesses is taking responsibility. I do feel the responsibility rests on Illegal ****'s--I placed the order through their website, and the charge appears as Illegal ****'s on my credit card statement. This is not the way to treat customers or to conduct business. I don't want this to happen to others in the future. A resolution of my issue would include a full refund to me from Illegal ****'s for the amount I paid, a total of $24.51.
