      We hired John C******* in August 2021 to replace our Pro Panel metal roof, including ridge vents, valleys and flashing, and install an ice melt system. It was stated to take 4-6 weeks to complete. At this time, 3 months later, it is still not completed. The list of uncompleted or incorrectly completed items ,in part, includes; - Failure to complete valleys adequately. The valleys remain scratched and damaged even though they are supposed to be new. Damage to the logs was also noted following the work on the valleys. -Failure to complete roof vents, caps, and sewer vents. -Failure to replace flashing. -Failure to replace all roof paneling. The roof over the kitchen window has still not be completed despite it being addressed with John C******* on 8/18, 9/22, and again on 10/14. We have attempted on multiple occasions to address these issues with John C******* over the phone with both calls and texts with very little to no response. We then took it upon ourselves to make the trip to attempt to meet with John C******* and monitor the status of the roof on three separate occasions; 8/16-8/22, 9/22-9/26, and most recently 10/13-10/17. All concerns were again confirmed with John on 10/14/21 but he has failed to provide any type of remedy to the above problems, nor give a confirmed timeline on when repairs/work would be completed, again leading us to believe that he is incapable of doing so and that any further work would be more damaging to our property.

      The sub contractor roofing crew and I went back to the house to replace pro-panel in the valley area where the existing dormer is built into the valley

      I agreed with **** that yes the roofers can make it more aesthetically better with the new panel and that is what we did on 10/28/2021

      We had to wait 2 weeks plus for the materials to come in

      When I got out there I called **** telling him we are at the job site He said he was coming out the next day and I have not heard from sense

      The roofers I believe did the first round of valley work to be extra care full about not hitting the snow melt wires in turn the roof panel was cut short from the other panels in the valley 

      The new panel in installed and in line with the rest of the panels

      Flashing was address

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The roof has still not been completed to a satisfactory level.  First Cuts knows what is an acceptable industry  standard and chooses to continue to either ignore that or are unable to perform the work to a satisfactory level.  Despite the fact that we will financially uphold our end of the deal we are in no way saying that we are happy with the quality of work nor do we believe that they have completed the job they were hired to do.  We reserve the right to seek financial compensation in the future.

      What did the guys miss?? You have not answered your phone, text or emails. I need to know what they missed

      I am doing another snow melt system in the area later this week so I can stop in and go over it again
