Called my place of business and said she was with the *** which my employees immediately forwarded to me, only to find out they were lying after I returned the call. When I began to ask them to remove me from there calling list and not to call my place of business again, she immediately hung up. I tried to complain to the owners in a more private manner via the contact us button on their web site it gave garbage messages "you've got to be human to send this msg" alternating to "all fields must be filled out." As far as I can see this business skirting the law with unethical attempts to get business from people and businesses get a tax lien from the state or federal government that amount to harassment. Watch out for calls from xxxx xxxxxxx (if that's her real name) from xxx-xxx-xxxx (which is probably one of a number of different numbers they use.) So Compass Tax Group LLC you can also take this review as my request you remove me and my place of business from your calling lists. BBB wouldn't allow me to leave the actual name and number of the person that called. Look on ****** Maps or Yelp if you want the name and number of the unprofessional person that called me.

Good day ****, I am sorry that ****** bothered you. I think there must have been a bit of a mis-understanding, as she would never claim she was with the **** Its not true, and theres nothing to gain from us saying that. She may have mentioned 941's or taxes to your employee, and if she did, my apologies. And ****** does tend to hang up the phone when she starts getting yelled at. At any rate, she took you of the list as requested.
There is nothing illegal or unethical about what we do. We have been in business 10 years this July, and have an A+ rating with the BBB. I'm not hard to find-- our phone number is on our website, and my direct number is listed on our BBB website. Feel free to call me any time.

Horrible. I engaged with these people ******************* in specific. He was a pressure salesman from minute one and called me a #%*% liar and hung up on me once he found out I had resolved the state tax lien myself.Review from Eddie R

What an amazing company to have by your side. Compass Tax Group helped me navigate through the hardest times of my business. I cant thank ***** and ***** enough for helping me with my tax problems. I literally just kept running my business and they would personally call to talk to me. Not just email only like others like to do. At the end everything they said would happen did. I talked to ******************* about a tax lien on my business, He gave me some decent advice initially and seemed credible. I told him I would look over the documents, sign them and send payment. Then he became agitated and really pushy about me signing right away and sending payment immediately which gave me pause. I talked it over with my wife and we decided to go with a different company. **** called back and I explained that my wife and I decided to go with a different company and we had already sign the *** and sent payment. **** was extremely rude, wanting to know who the other company was and berating me for making a bad decision. Then he proceeded to write me a email stating With all do respect you got to wear the pants in the family. I knew you werent ready to commit on the phone even though you promised you would. Bad decisionvery bad. You will have many sleepless nights with your wife when those contracts dont go through.Good LuckThis email from **** confirmed my decision. Im so glad we decided to seek assistance elsewhere. No one deserves to be talked to this way, this is wrong on so many levels. Its been a long time since Ive experienced this level of incompetence and ignorance from a company. My aplogies ********************** was certainly out of line. He is very passionate about what he does, and getting folks the best tax help possible. This time he took it too far in that regard, and he knows it.
As you can see from our reviews, there are no other reviews of this nature. We are A+ rated and have never had a customer complaint in almost 10 years of business.
Again, my apologies, and I wish you the best getting your tax issues resolved.

I have had the pleasure and good fortune to work with ************************* of Compass Tax Group, to resolve my issues with the ***.On every occasion, ***** has been reliable and professional in his dealings with me. The *** process is overwhelming. I most certainly would not have been able to adequately prepare for the necessary meetings with the *** agent, nor would I have appropriately addressed all of the concerns without *****'s assistance. He guided me through the process every step along the way and I could not be more appreciative of the time and attention that he gave to my matter. I posted a review about a year ago. I remain convinced that Compass Tax Group, LLC. is an incredibly professional and compassionate team of go-getters you need to have in your corner if you have a problem with the **** I am adding this new review because the company has done something I have never thought possible. When you hire some attorneys, they charge you by the hour, and you often feel that they are dragging your case so as to rack up more hours and make more money. Compass Tax Group charged an unbelievably small fee and then kept working on our case for another year at no extra cost until they resolved our tough case with the **** I guess they believe they do well when their clients do well and are happy. Our IRS taxes were a mess. After my partner died I relied on my secretary to continue filing and it turns out she was clueless. Although we had paid the base tax amounts, some were filed late and some were paid as much as a year late.It took a year, working with Compass Tax Group to straighten it out. They were able - painfully - to get most of the penalties abated due to the circumstances and save us a lot of money.I strongly recommend them for your problems. If you ever have a tax lien filed you will get a lot of cold-calls. I had the good fortune of picking a winner.Review from Michelle B

From start to finish this group of people have been fantastic! We had a lien filed against our company and they contacted us and offered help. We were informed of what to expect and they took charge!
