    House fire mitigation contract was signed by the contractor on July 13, 2021. With an approximate completion date February 13, 2022. As of this date the job has neither been completed nor has work been done since March 29, 2024 with the exception of 2 hours of cabinet work. There has been many items started but none completed. Electricians came about 3 weeks ago but did not have any materials to work with to start the job. I was also informed that they may limit there work due to lack of payment from Fire Loss Response.I had to move back into the home on February 1, 2024 due to having already given notice to vacate in December from my other living arrangement.The delays have forced me to accrue expenses in excess $50,000.00 due to me exceeded the statutory limits of 24 months of living expenses provided through my insurance company.In November I was told that the interior work would be finished by Thanksgiving. When that time came I was reassured the the interior would be finished by Christmas. Vinyl flooring on the ground floor has not been installed properly and has delayed my ability to purchase minimal furnishings for my home. I worry that the work will not be finished and a lien may be put on my home by the subcontractors lack of receipt of proper payment.
