In 2018 stars and bars put a roof on our house, we have found that the roof has been leaking ever sense due to poor craftsmanship? We have $50.000 worth of flood damage to our home including black mold! We have contacted them several times with no response? Our house is rotting from the inside out. We have sense found they Do Not have a contractor license to perform roofing. No permits were pulled nor did they inform the homeowner that any permits were needed. Stars and bars barely has the ability to change a lightbulb let alone do any construction repairs to a home if you trust stars and bars with your home, you are opening yourself up to years worth of headaches.

This is the second time this individual has done this. Stars and Bars did not put a roof on the homeowner's home. This was done as a favor for a family member, the HOMEOWNER, *****************************. We were contacted once on a weekend, by email. ************ has threatened us, stating he would call the police if we contacted the homeowner. There has not been any maintenance done on this roof. metal roofs require checking every year or two to ensure that the screws or washers are not loose. If we had been asked to by the homeowner, we would have, but we have not. ************ was sanding a metal roof, which takes away any and all protective coating on the metal. He then painted it with "roof" paint. There has not been any environmental tests done on this home, nor has there been anyone out to evaluate it. I know this for a fact because my in-laws live next door, and the homeowner is over there every day and has not said anything. When ***************** purchased the home, it was already in disrepair. She had been working on it herself. When ************ moved in, he began doing more extensive "remodeling". He has removed and installed and removed and installed multiple windows. ************ himself could have caused any and all of the damage within the home. This claim, these statements, by ************ are nothing but defamation and slander. He has continued to attack a business that has nothing to do with what is going on in that home. He has verbally attacked multiple members of my in-laws family. ************ claims that ***************** was taken advantage of becuase of her age and lack of construction knowledge, this is slander and defamation as well. She approached the business for advice, after she had fully researched what she was looking for. When she was told that Stars and Bars could not put on the roof, she researched roofing companies (that is what she told the business). When family members heard how much it would cost, they asked if I, as a family member, not the business, would help her put up the roof. the only thing the business did was purchase the materials for *****************, to which we have the proof and invoice.To reiterate, the roof at ********************* home was not put on my Stars and Bars Custom Designs, this was a family member helping a family member.
