My former company *********** &Appliance offered health insurance with Angle Health that offered a $7000 max out of pocket plan. The company also contracted with IIS benefits administrator to buy down their $7000 max out of pocket plan to $3150 if you selected this plan which i did. IIS never paid down any of my medical bills and I'm being charged by the health care providers as if my deductible is $7000. Im being billed by Banner Health for $5089.99. Ive paid several other deductibles that my health care providers demanded payment at the time of service. These providers contacted the insurance company that showed a $7000 deductible plan. I contacted IIS benefits over a dozen times by phone and email explaining my situation. All he has done (*****************) is send me one check for $10.38 that i deposited in my bank account just to have my bank return it to sender. *************** told me I would be paid well over $2000 with a check i never received. He wasnt sure of the amount. I was told they paid $2059.99 to Banner health on 7-24-2024. I contacted Banner Health and they received no such payment. In fact they sent me a text on 8-8-2024 demanding payment. IIS Benefits claims Banner has my account on hold until funds are received. When i contacted Banner Health they said that was inaccurate. I believe IIS Benefits owes me $3850.00 which is what i was promised as a buy down of my out of pocket maximum. I was willing to accept just the $2059.99 they were supposed to pay Banner Health just to wash my hands with IIS Benefits and take the loss but now I am fed up with their lies. I was told by *************** that I had to collect over payment from the providers. These bills by my providers have not been paid since 2-22-24. The problem with that is the providers dont show any overpayments since the insurance company showed a $7000 out of pocket max. I believe this buy down plan is a scam by IIS benefits and they have no intention of paying anything to my medical providers.
