I had rented a car about a year ago and mistakenly lost the car keys also zip car was informed about this matter and also was able to retrieve the car rented as I was unable to turn on the car with out car keys.. I was charged 400 dollars for the lost remote key no issue with that. When I then wanted to rent a car the following week I was unable to do do I called zip car and was told I would get a reply back within a certain amount of business days I was then Im formed almost a month later by email that my account was under investigation and was suspended. I called 9 months later because I seen on my bank statements that Im being charged monthly for services I cannot use due to a suspended account a rep then informed me they do see the charges and not sure why my account is suspended and that they would reach the complaint to a higher matter here we are 4 months and still no reply or call back or email to whats going on but Im still being charged and cannot speak with someone who can actually resolve or give me answers to whats going on policy also doesnt say that they can suspend account due to lost keys after the person was already charged for
