      On September 20, 2021 we had Flat and Fancy come out and lay down a new patio in the backyard, while the patio looks great, in the process the guys put the stamp with chemicals on it, on my grass. *** pointed the problem out to ******* and *** was told to just keep watering it and if the grass didn't come back ******* would take care of it. We watered it 3 times a day, but within the first 5 days the grass started dying. My husband tried revive hoping the grass would come back. My husband **** pictures to ******* and nothing was ever said nor done about it. Being that winter was upon us, there was nothing we could about the grass. Toward the end of April 2022, I raked the dead area and put down grass seed along with top soil and still the grass would not come back, again watering with revive. I started calling *************** every week and left messages with his receptionist. 4 times I called and ******* never returned any of my phone calls until the evening of May 10, 2022. The morning of May 10, 2022, I spoke with the receptionist again and she stated that ******* had texted my husband, which we never received or heard from anyone. The receptionist then **** us a text stating that it had been 7 months and the warranty had expired. I was told to text her with a picture of the grass, which *** **** the picture. There was absolutely nothing we could about the grass in the winter months. That is why I did it at the end of April of 2022. ******* finally called me around 2:30 and we had some words. I don't want there help now, which ******* said he would not take care of the problem and my husband said he would take that area out and put sod. It's a shame that we paid ******* faithfully in full, money that was owed and he treats his customers the way he does. I'm so unhappy with the owner's behavior and attitude. We are honest and God loving people. We didn't deserve this. Our grass was once beautiful. Pictures of before, during and after.***************************

      We performed work at ******************************* home last September. There was a patch of grass which was covered by a square stamp which turned ***** in the heat of the day of which *** **** a single picture. This can happen and each time a client has watered the grass and it grew back. I emailed stating they should water the grass and call/email me after 4 weeks if the grass did not grow back. **************** experienced a heat wave through October and November so it was not winter until December. There was no follow up to the yard until March. All grass in the city was still ***** so there was nothing we could do.

      I emailed 5/3/2022 (we never text clients) and asked them to send a new photo of the grass in response to her call. No reply. My office manager re**** my email on 5/10/2022 after ******* berated her on the phone calling her a liar, but clearly I did reach out to them. At this point, ******* emailed my office manager (she still did not reach out to me despite having my personal cell phone number) and posted a negative ****** Review. I was notified of this by an automated ****** email and immediately reached out to ******* via phone. Once I told her that her review needed to be removed or we could no longer help her, she became irate and berated me about a the section of grass that she could not get to grow. (Most grass in **************** is having difficulty growing this year due to extremely low humidity, dryness and heat). Her husband, **** was in the background asking her to calm down and stop yelling at me while stating he would simply take care of it. I emailed 5/10/2022 stating that we would offer to drop off the $10 of sod it would take to replace that area, but ******************* emailed 5/11/2022 to say he would take care of it. He said he would remove *******' review, but doesn't know how. *** also left a positive review.

      Our contract clearly states: Client allows and accepts responsibility for any damage to landscaping resulting from access to pour location

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I am rejecting ********* response to this claim. ******* told my husband that he had gone through surgery and could not come out to assess the damage, but to give the grass a year and then contact him if the grass did not come back. I made 4 attempts to contact ******* and the receptionist kept telling me that she had given ******* my message, whether she did or not, I don't know. All I know is that we did what we were told to do and that was to keep watering the grass, which we did so up until it got to cold. I know what I tried doing. I raked the dead grass, I put top soil down, grass seed then more top soil. The grass never grew back and we watered it faithfully. *** never told me to calm down when I was speaking to *******, because he wasn't even home. ******* never made one attempt to contact me until I wrote the bad review, that's when he finally called me. Yes, my husband did say that we would take care of the grass ourselves, because we have Kentucky blue grass and he knew ******* would not replace it with what we already had down. Yes, *** did say that the company did a good job on the patio, but the issue of the grass was never mentioned because we were told to water and if it didn't come back, then we were to contact the company, which that's exactly what I had tried to do. No, I will not remove my review. As much money as that patio costed us and to have a business owner treat us the way ******* did is totally uncalled for. I worked for many business owners and they took care of the problem for the customers so things wouldn't get out of hand like this. The customers never had to call the business 4 times, like I had to do. If ******* was so concerned about his business he would have returned my 1st phone call. Sincerely,

      Emails for reference are attached to back up what I have said. This response has no new information about the grass. We offered to replace the small patch of sod and the offer was declined. Unfortunately, this client is jaded and has not actually requested anything else from us. She continues to harass us over grass when our terms clearly state we are not responsible for such damage. We are especially not responsible after 7 months. ******* - enjoy your patio and the grass that *** said he'd handle for you. For what it's worth, *** was clearly behind you on the phone so perhaps in your yelling you didn't hear him? I know I did. Please leave us alone.

      ************************************, you were wrong and you know it. We've lived in our home for 35 years and in those 35 year's no one has ever damaged our property like your business has. That was the stupidest thing for your crew to throw a stamp with chemicals on someone else's grass. Your a liar and you know it. When you went through surgery last year you told *** that you couldn't come out because of your surgery and you clearly asked him to give it a year and if the grass didn't come back to contact you. That's exactly what we tried to do and after 4 phone calls you never once tried to contact us in anyway. *** even send a picture to you of our grass and he never heard from you, then me calling your office 4 times, is a little much. We didn't hear from you until I wrote that review, which I do not regret. All we wanted was for you to do the right thing, but you couldn't even do that. My attempts to contact you went ignored. No we don't want anything from you and I hope people will read my review and think twice before they use your company. Word of mouth get's around and it will hurt you eventually. Maybe not right away, but karma has it's way. I've never met a businessman like you, who can lie so much. I'm done with you and all your lies, deceit fulness.
