  I called the company early May requesting a dumpster for my home. I was having a roof replaced. I spoke with ****, a representative with the company. He asked what the job was for and I advised my roof. **** recommended a 20 yard and stated this was all I needed since this was a roof repair. He asked when was the work suppose to begin and I said Wed 05/11/2022. I advised him that the would be arriving early that morning. He advised that the dumpster would be delivered that Tuesday 05/10/2022. I paid him and he confirmed that an email would be received for me to sign docs. I agreed we disconnected the call. Shortly after the call, someone called back and stated that Tuesday was booked and they were not able to get someone out to deliver the dumpster but they assured me it would be there 1st thing in the morning. I asked what time and they said they start deliveries at 7. On 05/11 7- o'clock came no dumpster. 8 o-clock the worker started arriving and still no dumpster. I called and numerous of times and they kept saying it will be there is a few minutes, I just got off the phone with the dispatcher. My workers sat around as long as they could but I couldn't stall any longer. I have to give them go ahead to start working. the dumpster did not arrive until well after 3pm. By this time ,****** was full of garbage. I had to pay them extra to remove because I guaranteed the dumpster would have arrived in time. The staff was very rude and there was several times I called and put on hold and someone disconnected the call. Arnd the 10th call, I just asked for a refund. they told me that I would have to pay over a 100 fee for cancellation. When the dumpster was removed, I got an additional fee for ****** stating weight over limit. I know way of knowing if it was overlimit. It was weighed after it was moved. This company has been difficult to deal with and one lady told me that my workers should have put the debris on tarps

  I had an agreement with Discount Dumpster ** to provide a 16 cubic yard dumpster. As they are based in Colorado (which I did not know originally) and I live in ******* they hired a local subcontractor for the services I contracted with them. The dumpster they dropped off by my mathematical calculations is only around **** cubic yards. It was much smaller in height, width, and length than the even the 15 cubic yard dumpster that Discount Dumpster advertises (so mathematically, must be significantly smaller than that.). When I contacted them, they claimed I was measuring it wrong, as I was measuring it from the inside. This cant be correct as their website gives an example of what each dumpster will hold in cubic yards according to how many bags of trash that would equate to.If I even had another three cubic yards, I could have loaded everything I needed into it. With the smaller dumpster, though, I didn't have enough space. I will have to get another dumpster, incurring an additional $400+ to do so.The above describes a problem that would likely make any customer upset. The worst problem, though, was their attitude when I contacted them about the small size of the dumpster. They came back to me stating that the local contractor insisted that the manufacturer told him that what he was buying was a 16 cubic yard dumpster, so if I had a problem with it, I could contact the manufacturer. Their basic claim is that of the manufacturer puts a 16 cubic yard label on a dumpster that only holds **** cubic yards of trash, thats all that matters.In short, DiscountDumpster** takes absolutely no responsibility for the service they ultimately provide.Either the subcontractor is lying about the size of dumpster or the manufacturer is committing fraud. Either way, what I got was not what I ordered, and Discount Dumpster ** was not willing to take any responsibility whatsoever for it.
