    We contracted with this company for a new garage extension, new windows and new stucco siding. We started the contract in November of 2020. We paid our first installment at that time. The work did not begin until February of 2021. After many delays,near the end of July, 5 + months later we thought the project was finally completed. Then just this Monday, August 9th, we found out and inspection of the framing needed to be done and that they job was not done. The framing had already been covered by drywall. This had to be removed and will need to be replaced by them. Then this inspection failed. We are now told that we have to wait for one particular individual to fix it. This person is very ill and may be out for a very long time. Possibly weeks.The owner is refusing to do it sooner with another person. Again, as thru much of this project, we have to live with our home in disarray. We want this completed asap as this has been very stressful and cost us much more than we expected.

    We hired Gateway Maintenance and Construction after ***************************** (who we thought was the owner) met with my husband and assured him that he had a "crew" that would be doing our project. That they would "knock it out in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks at the most," that "once they began the job, they would not leave until it was completely finished."The closing on our house was pushed out 3 days and ****** assured us that it was not a problem. That they would begin work asap. 8 days later was when the first individual showed up at 5:00 p.m. to begin doing the demo for the floors. Day after day we would text asking when the "crew" would be arriving to get things started and finished. Apologies and promises are mostly what we received from ******. I asked to meet with ****** at the house and he promised to be there... no show for the first day. Again he promised to come the following day - again no show. I was there 4 days in a row with him saying he would be there "to meet face to face." He never did show. After 4 weeks of the home being torn apart (mostly after hours in the evening and no weekend days), nails all over the place, along with ripped off trim, kitchen cabinet being taken down not replaced, ceiling in the basement torn out without a covering on the carpet - carpet completely ruined (over **** sf berber carpet) with ceiling debris, nails, and toilet water being spilled, two broken windows and lights installed that are flickering.... promises after promises with apology after apology... no follow through, communication mostly via text. I finally spoke with ****** on the telephone who was offended when I asked him about where "his crew" was during the day and why was it only one person showing up for the floors. The fellow that installed the floor indicated that he worked for another company during the day and only did work for ****** on the side. ****** told me, "you are not the only client we have. We have other projects we are working on and are trying

    A lot of what *********************** is saying is true. It wasnt our crew bcuz the project didnt get started according to the day *********************** requested. She postponed the start 3 maybe 4 times. I tried to accommodate her by hiring subs when she was finally ready. I explained to her , my crew was on another job and she wasnt the only client we have. I couldnt jump when she wanted me to, I tried to help bcuz I knew they were in a time crunch. We were ready on the first 2-3 start dates. She does have a legitimate gripe and I tried to make it right. I finally got one of my guys in there but *********************** was fed up by then. My sincere apologies! I am the owner of GateWay Maintenance and Construction.
