My wife is under a conservatorship and Pikes Peak Probate are her trustees. The most recent incompetent thing they've done is allow us to call a handyman set up an appointment to get some drywall repaired in our home and when the estimate wasn't acceptable to them they made use pay a cancellation fee to get out of the appointment and find more estimates. This is after giving us the ok and going back on their word. Another time is when one of my animals needed to go to the vet and we made them aware of this ahead of time. Instead of the trust money covering the cost they decided to dip into our own personal bank account and take the money. In another instance they told us they would drastically reduce the pay we would receive out of nowhere putting us into a panic and cut off negotiations. The reasoning behind this is because they wanted my wife to get a job. My wife is legally disabled and diagnosed with autism and severe social anxiety with no work history but was still trying her best to find a job that would hire her from home to no avail. Instead of understanding she may have issues and working with her they went ahead and reduced our pay by hundreds of dollars for the next couple of weeks until my wife's mother had to step in and negotiated with them because they wouldn't respond to phone calls nor email. My wife's mother was informed of the amount that was settled on. We weren't informed however for another two weeks. We are constantly anxious that they will suddenly cut our money for no reason and with no recourse to do anything so we try not to rock the boat and have them retaliate. Their communication has been abbhorent. If you upset them in any way they will no longer respond to you. You can ask them for things 3 weeks ahead of time such as money for my daughters birthday and not get confirmation until the day that is her birthday. They simply don't care and there's nobody that we can reach out to to do anything about this so this is our last resort.Business response

*********************** is not, nor has ever been, a consumer or client of Pikes Peak Probate Services and this is not a credible complaint.
In reference to this complaint Pikes Peak Probate Services was appointed, not hired, to serve as a neutral third party for a trust and for the SOLE benefit of ************************** wife. County of El Paso, *****************, with case number 2021PR31288. ******************* is not a beneficiary of the trust.
Unfortunately the Trust is privileged, and protected, where Pikes Peak Probate Services cannot disclose or disseminate any additional information because it has a fiduciary duty to keep the trust information confidential.
Pikes Peak Probate Services denies the associated allegations and submits said complaint should be better resolved through the El Paso County ************************ W, and District ********************************************** rather than through the BBB.
************************** wife has legal counsel who she can confine with if necessary. Pikes Peak Probate Services will also speak with her attorney related to this groundless, frivolous, and vexatious complaint.
