I purchased a new 2024 GMC 2500 AT4 on 11/30/23. The business manager was out the night I purchased the truck, and therefore worked with the Sales Manager to complete the purchase. I paid using a certified check. At closing, the final amount was less than the certified check I brought in. He said not to worry, and I would get the refund sent back to me. I have contacted him multiple times and continue getting the same response that it is coming--but it has not yet and it has been 2 full months. I would like my refund of the overpayment.Business response

On June 11, 2020 22 we purchased a 2020 *************** Silverado, K **** LT ****** from *** Ferguson Buick. On October 20, 2022, our vehicle was brought into a mechanic shop due to a strut or a shock issue. We gave the mechanic MBPI Premier, vehicle service, contract, phone number, and they contacted and MBPI to check to see what parts were recovered, they called us back and told us that MBPI told them that no parts of the lift are covered. When we purchase this vehicle along with this premier vehicle service contract on June 11, **** 2022. We were informed that with that box checked for the lift kit and lower vehicle option that all components of the lifted vehicle would be covered, the dealership, sales person by the name of **** also proceeded to tell us that, the best thing to do is to buy a truck that comes with a lift kit from a dealership because it allows you to get an extra warranty that covers the lift on the vehicle. This morning, October 21, 2020 22 I called and MBPI just to see why none of the lift parts were covered because we were told that they were covered, the gentleman with MBPI told us that box has to be checked in order for the vehicle to even have an extra warranty. He stated that no vehicles with a lift have any warranty coverage. I went on to tell him that when we bought the vehicle that was one of the biggest things was that the lift was covered and thats why they told us thats why the box was checked. He said he was going to contact *** Fergusons agent, and have them review this, because that is not true. They sold us a premier vehicle service contract that is unusable to cover any of the lifted parts on our truck. We paid $4810.00 for a premiere vehicle warranty. Without the lift covered the warranty should only be $2900, if that!Business response

I took a vehicle to have a second opinion done on it. The vehicle was towed in and I was told that the timing was off. I had already replaced the timing and told ****** the service advisor that it had been done. I purchased parts from their parts department and was charged again for them. I did not authorize for the vehicles engine to come out. They told me that the engine had metal shavings in it and I asked them could they have not found that out before they dropped the engine. I was told YES. They pulled the engine out and told that it needed to be replaced. I did not authorize any repair of that fact. They put the vehicle back together and told me that it was ready to go I had to pay ******** to get the vehicle back. I put it on my credit card and then disputed the charge I was unaware that the bank sided with Ferguson. I would like to open a claim against them. I started to drive the vehicle away the engine started to knock and I had to pull over and tow the vehicle. When I brought the vehicle to them the engine was not knocking.Business response

Please see attachment for description of services rendered. This is the same information we sent to the credit card company. And after reviewing the case the debit has been reversed back to us.
We have had several conversations with Dan's **** to assist in the repair process after the engine started knocking and at this point in time, he does not want our help.
Recently the registered owner of the vehicle that is involved in this case has reached out to our service department directly for repairing the engine knock. Being sensitive to the situation we have
offered the registered owner assistance to get the vehicle repaired - outside of Dan's ****. Please contact ****** ************** ******* Manager directly at ********************* if you have any questions.
