The amounts listed in the complaint are the ******** allowed amounts for the services the patient received. The patients primary and secondary insurance left the balance to patient responsibility. The patient received two statements and a final notice letter before the account was sent to our collection agency because no payment was received from the patient. If the patient wants to dispute the charges with the collection agency, he might try calling the collection agency directly. The website provided by the patient is not a valid website. While the charges cannot be pulled back from the collection agency, the patient is welcome to contact our ******* Services and Payment Posting Lead with additional questions at ************.

Colorado Springs Radiologists, P.C. is charging the correct, allowed billable ******** amounts. The patients primary and secondary insurance sends Explanation of Benefits to the patient which would also have the allowed amounts shown; those amounts will match the amount he was invoiced. The letter from *********************** *** provides information and detailed instructions on how to dispute debt. The instructions state the patient may call or write to dispute all or part of the debt. A phone number is provided within the letter, along with instructions to submit written disputes to ************************************* what the patient refers to as the website is actually an email address. A website is provided within the letter to learn more about rights under federal law www.cfpb.gov/debt-collection.We apologize the patient still has questions and again, while the charges cannot be pulled back from the collection agency, the patient is welcome to contact our ******* Services and Payment Posting Lead with additional questions at ************.

I requested my medical records from PenRAD but they refused to share it other than on a medium that's completely obsolete, a CD.If they can transfer the files to a CD, then they can send me the files online or share them on a thumb drive at the very least. If PenRAD doesn't share medical records in a format that the patient can access, then they're not actually sharing the records at all.I request the records (the actual images) be shared with me online or in a medium I can actually use, such a thumb drive.

My soon to be ex-husband, *******************, received a past due notice for services due for ******* of this year. I called them on his behalf because all of the medical bills stacking up were just too overwhelming for him to deal with. I asked if there was a cash pay price that he could have to start making payments on. The representative said the patients had to mention they were a cash pay patient at the time of service. I told her he didn't know that he didn't have insurance at that time. For some reason there was a mix-up between his insurance company and broker, so he lost his insurance for the month of *******. She consulted with someone and said if we pay 'x' number of dollars now it will be taken care of. I said I can't say we can do that, as we are still in the process of filling out all the financial forms with Centura. I then asked if they had financial aid and she said yes, and proceeded to email it to him. They ask for about 4 times more information than the hospitals, so it took us awhile to get it to them. The next thing we know it's in collections. No denial or anything. Just collections.By the way, in the month of *******, he was in the ** at least 2 times and hospitalized once. He was approved for financial assistance through the hospital system.

We acknowledge that navigating healthcare insurance and billing issues can be challenging, thats for sure. We strive to ensure detailed information is promptly provided and are available to answer all questions and provide options, if ever necessary. That being said, we discussed this matter with the patient and explained financial assistance options on October 19th, 2022 and believe this matter is resolved. We appreciate the concern and thank you for broaching the subject; if the patient has additional questions or concerns we are unaware of, we are certainly happy to discuss further as we want him to be satisfied. Our Director of ******** Services is available at ************. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because:

They never contacted him. He only hears from the collection agency, and I do NOT consider that being contacted by Penrad about billing options, etc.

      Sincerely,
