Business ProfileforParkhurst Tax Prep, Inc

I met with ****** Parkhurst, of Parkhurst Tax Prep, Inc on March 24th, to get my taxes filed. I had never been to him before. He said it was $75, and that was reasonable to me as I was having problems finding someone, either it was too expensive for instance, $800 just to file or they werent accepting clients. So I was happy thats all he was charging. I went into his office, and he was very professional from the start. The area where his office is located is not a good part of ****************, it looked very run down and not safe at all. But we proceeded, and he told me while I was there he was having problems with his printer. I tried to be understanding. He then finished everything, but told me that when he went to e-file it wouldnt let him. Kept getting rejected. So he said he was going to have to mail my stuff in. I said okay. He said it would *********** weeks or so and I should see a ***** credit. I dont owe anything because I am a Caregiver for my oldest son with special needs, I dont pay taxes, but I was going to be getting the ***** credit. I said, okay great, thank you. Fast forward to yesterday May 20th. I havent received it yet, so I decided to check with the **** Online it doesnt show that I have even filed yet. I called the *** and waited forever (like 3 hours) to talk to someone because my calls kept getting dropped. They said that it doesnt show on their end that I have filed or that anything has been rejected! They told me to get back in touch with Parkhurst that did my taxes, and so I tried texting and calling them and leaving several messages, emails, but no replies. Im starting to think he scammed me! Now Im out of $75 + $800 I was supposed to get back for ***** :( I have to try and file now again with someone else or do it myself. Everything looked legitimate too, all the paperwork, but why didnt he file?
