After a strong referral from a friend, several consultation visits on the phone and in person, and doing some research to verify the validity of the business on the CO Secretary of State website, I hired *********************, the owner of Werkaholix LLC to do a variety of web-related tasks to promote our online presence and to attract new clientele. We signed a contract on Tuesday Jan 17, 2023 and I paid him in full ($2500) for the work he was to complete. What transpired less than a week after paying him for his services has been anything but honest, respectable, trustworthy, nor contract fulfilling. He has made promise after promise to deliver results, log-in credentials for the website, etc. and has failed at every corner to meet the deadline in the contract of Feb. 10 when all work would be completed and the site would be live online. I even gave him an extension of one week and he is still falling short. His excuses have included the following: a crazy day before we were first scheduled to meet, therefore the need to cancel; his kids being sick; then he was sick; and then he would be out of town for a few days, and then he was extending his stay out of town 2-3 weeks; his friend overdosing on some sort of legalized drug; and then a long sob story about being kicked off the land where he and his family was staying and being out $40,000 because of it. The list of lies and excuses goes on and on and we are still no closer to a remotely finalized product a week after the date it was to be completed. He has been horrible at being the first to communicate, is slow to respond when he even does, and he just keeps stringing things down the road promising results but not delivering. At this point I want a full refund and would appreciate someone from the BBB investigating him and doing something so that he doesn't do this again to someone else. I have all of our email communications on file and a ton of text screen shots if you need further information to support the claims in the statement I typed up and uploaded as a PDF to give you more details and when each occurred. Definitely a creative way to present what happened
I committed to build ********************* of ****** & Son Painting a website that included 5 pages When I delivered the site fully functional on the due date it had nearly 30. No thank you, no paying for it Just more unreasonable demands. And then the threats Im gonna ruin you! ***** never be able to work again! Those barely even scratch the surface... terribly vindictive... prideful like I've never seen before...
It's on me... I knew things weren't right when he tried to bully me into making his site for free because of the priveledge of knowing him...
All good and moving on..."
